@pakopako@werehatrack Doesn’t need an oven, and they heat really fast. I got one with a digital thermostat, and besides the usual boil, it can hold water at a desired temperature less than boiling. For certain teas and such.
But a standard kettle on a gas stove works far better during a power outage, and electric tend to not whistle.

I actually bought one of these about a month ago, really well made. Bottom is thick, heats fast!
If I didn’t already have an electric kettle, I would want one of these.
@werehatrack anything exciting about an electric kettle compared to a traditional one?

Both have upsides.

Huh. That’s actually interesting and very useful for me at the moment. (Until I get a new water heater or individual electric units everywhere.)
Kitchen duet?
