@hippiechik I'm happy to see the overwhelming response on behalf of Benjamin Buford Blue. They call him "Bubba" like some redneck boy, can you believe that?
@PocketBrain Redneck is another misused word. Most times they really mean hillbilly. A redneck is earned. And there are more of them in the Midwest than in the South.
I really liked a Bubba back in middle school. His real name was Ryan and he was as opposite of a redneck as you could imagine. But, his nickname was still Bubba.
My son Bubba, who comes over and fixes all the broken shit around here. Saves us a lot of time and work, and doesn't ask for money, but we try to give him some anyway if he'll take it.
I'm not getting all political (really, it's as much personal as anything else): I love this guy. I mean, c'mon. The guy at the podium's pretty cool too.
My step-son grew up in North Dakota and when he met my mother he was driving a Ford Bronco with mud-racing tires which were taller than she was (5' 4"). At that moment he became Bubba, she (lovingly) called him that to the day she died.
I grow weary of reading "who?" every time a celebrity is mentioned here in the forums, but short of Smith and Clinton, I have to admit that I had never heard of any of the Bubbas in the poll.
Bubba Watson being left off the list is criminal.
@leveytation I came here just to say this.
@leveytation I agree.
@TaRDy 100% with you on that one
What about the guy with the shrimpin boat?
Bubba Gump. And that's all I have to say about that.
@hippiechik My thoughts exactly
@hippiechik Yep, very surprised this didn't make the list.
@hippiechik His name is Bubba Blue. Calling him Bubba Gump makes him sound like Forrest's gay lover.
@TBoneZeOriginal LOL Bubba Gump was the name of their 'Shrimpin Business
@hippiechik Exactly! Is there any other? How could they miss this?
@TBoneZeOriginal I'd ship it.
He got left off the poll . . .
@Pavlov There he is! AKA: Benjamin Buford Blue
@hippiechik I'm happy to see the overwhelming response on behalf of Benjamin Buford Blue.

@Chops And here I thought I was the only person anywhere that knew who Bubba Sparxxx was. (Sorry Bubba).
@lowerone lol yeah and apparently he's still bubbin
Bubba's Burrito Bar, Islip, NY
Who can forget those charming animated characters who advertise bathroom cleaner, the Scrubbing Bubbas?
@Starblind And don't forget Bubbalicious Bubble Gum. Or maybe it's Bubba Gum?
@heartny Bubba Gum comes in regular and 26 different flavours of shrimp.
@Starblind @heartny It saddens me when this kind of humor goes largely unappreciated.
@Starblind You knew this had to be a thing:
http://www.scrubbinbubbas.com/
@joelmw The world is a more amazing place knowing there really are Scrubbing Bubbas out there. Looking exactly how they should look, too.
@Starblind
Or the SNL skit Bubba Wawaa? Ahhhh, Gilda.
Bubba from Forest Gump. Or his real name Benjamin Buford Blue.
@Junrin You beat me to it.
@Junrin Beat me also. +1
@Junrin you beat us all
@spacezorro It's true.
Hubba Bubba Bubblegum
@mebisping You beat me! :)
@mebisping Another vote for Hubba Bubba.
It's been said already in other posts that I agree with...BUT IT NEEDS TO BE SAID AGAIN DAMMIT!!!
A poll
A poll about the name Bubba
A FREAKING POLL ABOUT THE NAME BUBBA WITHOUT Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue aka BUBBA GUMP IS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT... at the very least extremely Meh.
@Veloslave He did make it into the write-up you middle aged t-shirt wearing person.
At first I was like Bubba Blue, then I was like Bubba Ho-Tep, then I was like Hubba Bubba, but, alas, I was like meh.
How the fuck did Bubba Blue get left off of this?
That is like asking about your favorite Elvis and leaving Presley off the list.
My son Bubba, who comes over and fixes all the broken shit around here. Saves us a lot of time and work, and doesn't ask for money, but we try to give him some anyway if he'll take it.
@2many2no Will he come to my house ?
@2many2no -Your son Bubba is my favorite Bubba now too !
I'm not sure who it is, but @no1 or @smilingjack is the bubba. Or maybe it's @pooflady.
@jqubed Slander!!!!
@jqubed not da bubba!
@jqubed It must be poof.
@smilingjack That settles it then!
Neil Peart
Sgt. Bubba Skinner from In The Heat Of The Night.
That someone voted for Bubba The Sponge makes me sad.
I live in the south and have an awesome Bubba for a neighbor.
I'm not getting all political (really, it's as much personal as anything else): I love this guy. I mean, c'mon. The guy at the podium's pretty cool too.
@joelmw - Good times, good times.
@joelmw What is the context of this picture? It's just begging for a caption.
@Purplefeather
Here ya go.
And, indeed, it is begging for a caption:
Inappropriate Timing Bill Clinton Meme

Do it to it!

Surprised no one's mentioned Big Bubba from your local prison, or are people just trying to forget :P
I know this doesn't quite count, but I'll prolly call my Bubbas "Bubs":
Bubba Hotep, hands down. A murderous mummy and Bruce Campbell as Elvis. Win/win!
Just noticed the star next to the post subject question. Why would I like your stupid post subject question, Meh?
What about Bubba Higgins from Mama's Family?
@Purplefeather Oh my goodness. Mama's Family.
@Purplefeather I forgot about that Bubba! That show was awesome! Good memories
I was always partial to Billy Carter, the first bubba.
Billy was into PBR before PBR was cool.
Beelzebubba by the Dead Milkmen.
It's no Bucky Fellini but we're talking about Bubbas.
