Who wants some bags?

I’ve been a lurker since the Kickstarter days, and (apparently) a VMP since 2015. As I approach my 7th year anniversary, I’ve decided it’s time to trim back my subscriptions, so sadly Meh needs to go.
However, it’s not all Doom and gloom! I’ve got more IRK/Fuko/Fuku bags than I know what to do with, so if anyone wants my excess, let me know!
NOTE: We do have cats, so if you’re allergic, keep in mind that Ash might have been hanging out around them.

I have accumulated a few excess Meh bags over the years too. If smigit2002 runs out of a color I may have it. All cat inspected and approved.
@speediedelivery My cat likes to bite them. Little weirdo.
@Kyeh One cat will stalk a bag and run into it sliding across the floor. Both like to hide and sleep in them. I should try to get some video.
Only a few of my Meh bags have been used as cat toys. The offered ones are either not used or maybe a few times but in next to new shape.

@smigit2002 Also what’s your secret?! I’ve ripped like 3 of my bags already but I do use them a lot. Does kitten fur make them stronger?
@Sneakertree The secret is to… NOT use them!
My primary bags are freebies from Aldi openings, with Ikeas as my backup. The Meh bags have just lived in the basement accumulating over the last 7 years
@Sneakertree Line the inside seams with matching Gorilla™ or Duck™ brand tape. I’ve done that, plus put a firm-ish strip of plastic at the bottom of my bags. They’re still going strong. (Of course, my husband questioned my need for red, yellow, AND black tape.)
Wow! I’ve never been able (quick enough) to get an irk. I’d love a bag. There’s so many colors and it looks like a few designs. So awesome! I’m not super picky. I’d like a red or blue or purple or black or whatever no one else wants. I don’t have one so it’s all new to me. It may end up being the closest I ever get to an irk. Lol Thank you for being so generous!

Just got my red Fuku bag, thank you! I put it out of my cat’s reach so he won’t bite it, but he was verrrry interested in the manila envelope it came in. It must smell like Ash!

Ash was certainly all over those bags as I was prepping them, I guess they’re only interesting if I’m touching them, as I’ve got a rainbow assortment in the basement that he couldn’t care less about.

@smigit2002 When meh had their first purple bag, the purple fuko drawstring one in 2017, I missed it because of an unexpected engagement. I was so sad, but a couple of the meh employees made sure that I got one. And then a few good-hearted mehtizens sent me theirs, so I still have lots of PURPLES.
I’m glad someone finally claimed yours.

@Barney My first responce was “ooooh purple! i want!” but then I remembered I finally got a purple not that long ago so I wanted to save it for someone else that didn’t have one yet.

Man, I’d forgotten about some of these bags, and now I wonder where my original red Fuku ones went! If still available, I’d love a navy blue or a light blue or a green. Or any other color, really. It sounds like I may be an anomaly, but Ive found the IRK bags to hold up to my use really well

I’ve been a lurker since the early days, too, and I’ve never gotten a Fuko/Fuku/IRK, but all I’ve been trying to snag is the bag. I’d like the orange one, or really any other color. This is a cool thing for you to do. Thanks for offering.
I too have cats who love bags (and I like bags too!). If still available, I’d love one of the red drawstring ones or a light blue.
@smigit2002 The red drawstring bag arrived late last week along with some socks that fit people with average female sized feet! Woo-hoo! They’re awesome and I love them! I wore a pair to church today and they were very soft and comfy. Thank you for your generosity.

Drazi bags arrived safe, much appreciated!
My orange bag is wonderful. I finally got an IRK!! Or at least the bag, which is what I wanted anyway. Didn’t realize they were so big (I thought they’d be the size of the ones I bought years ago on woot). This size is actually useful for shopping! A public THANK YOU to @smigit2002 for my bag and surprise, and give Ash a big hug from me.
I managed to snag the Valentine’s day fuku years ago and it came in a red bag. Would love one of the black ones although I saw this pretty late.
The purple and the non-meh green would be a perfect pair for Drazi Election Season, should one break out.
And I like to be prepared for Drazi elections…

@Kyeh @smigit2002 Years ago, Lee and I bought some fancy robe-and-pants sets in matching cuts and fabric types, hers in green and mine in purple. We wore them at cons as “the Drazi Election Observers”.

I must say it annoys me a lot when a particular color gets strongly tied to a particular point of view. Also symbolic animals.
