Of these three, the runny nose is undoubtedly the grossest for most people, since not everyone gets ear infections. But for the people who get the bad earsnots, that’s painful and hard to fix, and I understand why they put that ahead of a runny nose. I’m sure I would, too. My own sinuses almost never dry up completely, so that I have a near-permanent case of low-grade postnasal slither. And before anyone suggests any of the “nasal irrigation” torture devices, be advised that any attempt to simulate waterboarding with me as the subject will result in significant traumatic dismemberment. This is the only cautionary advice that will be provided.
I currently have a fungal infection in my ears so I can ever so gently insert a Q-tip and when I pull it out it is covered with puss, blood and some sort of black colored mold all at the same time…Pretty damn gross if you ask me!
@sicc574@werehatrack
had a nurse chart a “green pussy discharge from left ear”’ one itme.
Trust me… there is NO way to spell that word that will look correct!
In the worst category, not gross, for me it is definitely ear problems. I’m suffering from Meniere’s Disease and resulting Migraine. Meniere’s is an inner ear malfunction that results in intense tinnitus, drastic almost complete hearing loss, and vertigo leading to incapacitation and vomiting for hours on end. Nothing helps except time and Valium to knock me unconscious. So yes, ear is definitely the worst for me.
Explosive diarrhea.

Leaky snot locker is definitely the winner for disease spread…
Watery eyes? Say you were crying

@werehatrack I’d say that’s a neti “not” for you, then?
Runny nose…toughest to catch.
@ebatch
@ebatch Not for me in Spring, Winter, and Fall. Or it is the runny nose catching me?

I guess the proper word is “purulent.” Not that I knew that until I searched for it.

@accelerator Oof, makes my recurring pulsatile tinnitus seem not so bad after all! My sympathies, I can’t even imagine!
Runny nose. Why? Snot.
