Where can I find saltine crackers?
3I have been looking everywhere. All of the stores are out. Even Amazon seems to be low or the ones they have are made with precious metals as that seems to be what their price reflects. Is this the new toilet paper? What is going on?

Try Walgreens or CVS. Saltines are an old home remedy for upset stomach. So a pharmacy might have some.
All the stores… Where are you shopping? AutoZone? /jk
@mike808 I have not looked at autozone I have looked at grocery stores Walmart and sams club. I asked at one of the grocery stores and she said to get there early on the truck day because they sell out by 11:00 AM. But I will check Auto zone!
My sister just mentioned that there seems to be a shortage of saltines. She has been buying oyster crackers because it is all she can find.
Looks like they are easy enough to make homemade
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hint, hint. Go buy some matzos. “The original cracker.”
The dollar store I frequent usually has a couple of brand choices.
We have a box on our storage shelf, but if you need some and can’t find any:
@Kyser_Soze I was thinking of this vid and I have some pop corn salt in butter flavor and ranch flavor. That would make some good crackers!
There seemed to be a shortage in my area but they’re coming back. I haven’t seen them at Aldi yet, but I founds some at Walmart last weekend.
@gt0163c for Aldi’s. I like their butter crackers (Ritz replacement) and the veggie flavored ones.
to make crackers from matzoh, moisten the matzoh, srinkle lightly with table salt and toast over the stove burner. a toaster might work, too, but i haven’t tried.
i pity the poor PARROT owners, tho’ . . .
@docflash Whadda ya talkin? Just buy salted matzoh. They come salted and unsalted.
I use them all the time in place of saltines, but opt for the unsalted because I’m supposed to watch my salt intake.
Give me a couple of matzoh and some Maytag blue cheese and a glass of champagne…mmmmm, a great late night snack.
@docflash @Jackinga In college, the line for the crappy toasting device was always long, so when they put matzoh out, I’d grab one and lightly butter it. It tasted like buttered popcorn to me.
I was at our local grocery tonight; there were plenty of Nabisco Premium varieties available. YMMV
I am a saltine addict. It’s really been rough here without my regular supply of Zestas. Premium is anything but… and the Kroger brand just leaves me wanting more.
I found two versions of saltine crackers at Dollar Tree (Now $1.25us Tree) Regular & Whole Wheat.
I thought I was imagining it. Did have luck at Aldi though. Try ordering through Instacart on a restock day, that did the trick for me.
Around here, many of the groceries that were once open 24-hours aren’t anymore, and are now stocking overnight. They no longer stock all day long, so,
come mid-afternoon, it can be tough to find stuff on the shelves, esp staples and bottled water.
I’d try going to a large store (one with an efficient supply chain reputation) first thing upon opening.
