Unless I have a plane to catch or an early appointment, I haven’t used an alarm for years. I usually wake up earlier than I want to and then go back to sleep.
When the first alarm goes off, I usually lie there listening to the nice music. Then the second, more annoying alarm goes off, and I start playing the snooze button game, but by then I am surrounded by starving, pathetic, but impatient furry creatures who obviously haven’t had anything to eat for three days, so …
I have a cheap smart watch (Mi Band) that monitors my sleep and tells an app (Sleep As) when I’m semi awake within 30 minutes of my actual alarm and then the alarm goes off and the watch vibrates. Have used this combination for years and rarely have a bad wake up.
I wonder why I didn’t buy a winning lottery ticket.

@Kyeh
Bounding out of bed
Seeing the clock you fall back
Frolicking porpoise
@replicacobra I wish! More like a trundling badger,
rolling slowly towards the clock,
then back into bed.
(I love your imagery, though! )
Time to take my pill
@Rueki That movie was way better than it had any right to be, and I was surprised that no one warned me.
@Rueki Added to my Netflix watch list!
Kill the alarm sound
Acknowledge it’s time to go
Curse my lot in life
Cry a little knowing it is yet another day of work. Must. Win. Lottery!!!

Monday, hit snooze.
Tuesday, slap snooze.
Wednesday, slam snooze.
Thursday, punch snooze.
Friday, hit snooze.
Saturday,… zzzz
99% of the time my alarm doesn’t go off before I get up. On the rare occasion it does I guess #1 applies.

@stolicat Wow, you got cats that wait until after the alarm goes off. I am so jealous.
Yes. Just a “minute” on my phone.
My snooze button is planning to get a restraining order against me.

I don’t get the snooze button. You don’t get any more sleep, it just ruins the sleep you were going to get anyway.
