Since retiring, my dog and I walk 2-3 miles most days (weather and pesky human business permitting.) Now we feel restless and edgy on the days we don’t walk.
Stop explaining to dog people that I’m not a crazy cat person because my cats equal their one or two dogs by mass, but I don’t have to go outside in a blizzard. I just have a distributed dog. With multiple personalities. So a dog.
(but that one wasn’t sitting on the diagnostician’s shelf when we were getting my son tested for dyslexia and everything else, so my first exposure to it is today)
@macromeh I’m more a lazy person who made some poor decisions.
However. Having 16 cats is not as bad as you would think. it’s like 2 large dogs. But you don’t have to go outside. Or if your dog is 100lb. It’s one large hyperactive dog constantly stepping in your keyboard. But at easier to relocate. The constant stream of stepping on your keyboard. But I digress.
and two of the bedrooms are shutoff. So if you know a crazy cat lady with 2 kids but no cats. I have a solution
@Kidsandliz@xobzoo that’s actually daddy cat and 6 of the problem children he caused. Mistakes were made. The kids are 7 months so pretty full grown. They like to follow me to work/take up half my desk and randomly wake up and cause problems during meetings. Some others join some days.
They used to do this
And work the bed off the desk so I just got a large dog one.
To try and get our dogs to enjoy trips in the car.
They are already trained, very polite and friendly with people, get treats, daily walks and 2 fenced acres to run. They are only about 2 yrs old.
They really dislike going for a drive. One shakes in fear and the other one gets car-sick.
I suppose I’ll start with very short trips and small treats.
I told mom hers needs to be, give Charlie more PB treats!!! I whisper it in her ear as she sleeps lol
If I resolve to live like a dog does that mean I can poop in the yard or wherever the mood strikes me?

Walking the dog, and just walking in general. I am tired of sitting at home. Hmmm, walking will make me tired too. What a conundrum.

Lap weight varies id say there is a constant set on me or the couch but the actual number/cast varies

@daveinwarsh try sitting in the car without driving and give them treats. Give them quality treats like chicken or dried liver.
