One time, I bought a pair of Andrew Christian Trophy Boy boxer briefs on sale for $20. They’re nice in many ways, but I don’t see myself ever spending that much for a single pair of undies again. Just doesn’t feel right.
My brother convinced me to try Saxx (which typically run in the $25-$30 per pair range). I thought he was nuts (no pun intended). But he eventually convinced me. And he was right. $30 for being that much more comfortable all day is worth it.
8-10 years ago I tried my first from Duluth Trading. Never thought I’d pay that much for a dang pair of undies, but after wearing them, I haven’t went back to the old “tighty-whitey” standard that served for so many years. Not sure I’m the only reason, but they did build a retail store about 2 miles from my home…
I’m including period panties in my answer. They cost a bit, but work well. I had to spend a little to get some good quality ones…I think it was $40-50/set of 2. Totally worth it though!
I’ve paid on the high end for ExOfficio travel underwear. Super comfy and if you’re the minimalist packing type, you only need three pair the whole trip - one to wear while the second (washed by hand in the sink/shower) dries, plus an emergency backup. They’ve lasted for years, worth the money in my opinion.
I used to buy mine on sale when they went to five pairs for $35, but I found a no-name “brand” on Amazon I like better, at about $3 a pair. I can’t imagine spending less. (typed while female; completely different pricing scale as with all products)
/showme a pear of underwear
Something went terribly wrong. Please try again.
@mediocrebot why did I even try
@mediocrebot no no. We are good.
@awk Please don’t try again.
@show_the_maw @yakkoTDI Ya’ll don’t like fruit?
@awk @show_the_maw @yakkoTDI Fruit Of The Loom, maybe.
Uh. Costco is cheaper than $5 a pair
A dollar two ninety eight.
$5.00 on a single pair? What madness is this? Last undies I bought were on clearence at Walmart for $5.00 for six pairs.
not gonna lie, the MeUndies are comfy af
@DocJRoberts, definitely second this, especially for boxer briefs! I even bought myself a subscription for a year or two when I got divorced.
This poll should be $1,2,3,4, and $5+ with explanation for the last option.
Leather is not cheap.
$5 for a pair, or $2.50 for one.
Don’t fall for it, they’re trying to set prices for the next Mehrathon!
