What were you wondering in 2015?
3What were you Googling?
Washington State looked up Leonard Nimoy more than any other state. While I admire and respect him, I think my meh activity (looking up gifs, product reviews, etc) should have loaded the count another way ;-)
We also Googled “left shark” the most. Remember him?
Here is the site with a list of other popular search terms.

How about you, Were you in Googling conformity with the rest of your state?

It's bad enough that google knows what I google... I'm not sharing that info with anyone else. I will share that a friend of ours left us a gift of Edible Anus for Christmas.
For those wondering, you CAN get your anus cast and made into a bronze sculpture!
Our friend signed it "With love, Krampus"
So if that's what I'm willing to share... leave my googling private, for everyone's sake.
@Thumperchick - um, so how's your Christmas going so far? Hope it gets even better. ;-)
@Thumperchick You didn't put friend in ""'s- so I'm guessing this is entirely normal for that person then?
@dashcloud it wasn't not normal...
@Thumperchick so did you eat your friend's anus yet
@Lotsofgoats no. As of yet, his gift of anus has been left uneaten by any and all recipients.
I bet they taste like crap.
Being Belgian chocolates I bet they taste great, however they sure do look like ass...
The last thing I googled was "duckduckgo." That was a year ago today.
@gregormehndel - So - you must use a different search engine???
@KDemo Unless you're joke is going over my head, search for 'duckduckgo.' It's a search engine that doesn't track your searches. :)
Edit: YOUR (not 'you're'). Gee whiz, too much pie or something.
@gregormehndel - I will own up to my cluelessness - lol - your joke went over my head.
@KDemo @gregormehndel also if you like googles results, but want to put a layer between you and them check out https://www.startpage.com , it's a similar idea to duckduckgo with the added advantage of a proxy sevice to pull up pages (just click proxy on the results page next to the item you are interested in).
@gregormehndel A friend was visiting during Thanksgiving. She went to search on my computer and the screen looked funny (duckduckgo) and she actually started to put "Google Search" into the search bar until I stopped her explaining that duckduckgo was my search engine now. She looked at me like I was speaking Mandarin and actually tried to continue to go to Google until I physically stopped her!
@KDemo Ha. You get a pass... there's no way to know things until you know them, no?
@thismyusername Hmmm. This is good to know, thanks! I miss the "search by image" function on google. In fact, that reminds me that I actually have used google for that function since I switched over to DDgo.
@fjp999 DENIED! I'm guessing she's not a convert just yet...and now I'm wondering what that search was! hahaha
@gregormehndel Um, she really should be! A total neurotic... when I explained what duckduckgo was she said she "had to remember that" but I think she may have a bit of a "bad memory" also! Um, she was searching for some stupid gossip crap which would have fit perfectly into: PENNSYLVANIA Jon Snow dead, Dick Van Patten dead, Carrie Underwood baby, Royal baby, Blake Lively baby...Actually I should have physically removed her fingers from my computer!
I was wondering if I'd ever get a fuku. I couldn't find the answer. So I googled google instead
I just googled "Boko Harem" so I could fit in.
@sammydog01 - Sorry for that - Well, the more you know . . .
@KDemo At least I didn't have to look up "Lamar Odom".
Not sure if it's encouraging or sad that we Marylanders need to Google Ta-Nehisi Coates.
@brhfl I'd be pleased if NY had googled TNC more than Charlie Sheen
@Lotsofgoats Haha, agreed. Just feel like MDers should somehow know without Googling, like… you drive on 695, and the VMSes just pound subliminal messages of TNC into your mind…
I am wondering whether can I earn much money in 2016.
@Nigel543 Bad spammer. BAD.
@Nigel543 thanks! I like mony.
