@elimanningface see, kids, this is what poor trolling looks like. No one will ever believe someone seriously likes Jar Jar. In this case, he should have gone ewok. There really are people who like the ewoks, not realizing that they were the first signs of the awfulness we’d get in the prequels.
@cercopithecoid yes, but that falls more in the Jar Jar range where no one will believe you actually like it. No good for trolling. But an excellent warning. Basically, Lucas is a case where the producers spent so much time to cut out his crazy that they couldn’t add their own, and it made the first couple great. Then he got more say as he needed fewer people to give him money, and we got the remastering and prequels.
Between Star Wars and Star Trek my favourite is definitely Star Gate. Followed by Star Trek. Star Wars is just… poor. Haven’t seen it, but I know it is.
@serpent The original trilogy far outshines the original Stargate movie, but as for the whole franchises, you could definitely make your argument. A decade or so back, I’d have fought for Trek, but I watched Enterprise and the reboot trilogy, either of which alone would have dropped it to a tie. And Wars has the worst sins littered across the years.
Boba Fett 1979, no contest.
Jar Jar Binks 1999, no contest.

@simplersimon
/image all jedi had was a bunch of muppets
@simplersimon There was awfulness before ewoks.

Walrus man actually was a big sticking point in my uncle’s divorce. Not even in the packaging.
My dad had one as well, but he let a four year old (me) play with it, and the hands got chewed off. I’d apologize, but it was really his fault.
wuuh uughghhhgh aaaaahnr raaaaaahhgh
Am I going straight to hell for chuckling at this?
@plastrd
You’ll have company
Yoda.
Always Yoda it was.
Is still.
Boba Fett, but only the one with the spring-loaded rocket firing backpack.

@serpent I know, right? The kind of people that watch Star Wars are the people who vaccinate their children and eat gluten.

@jsh139 Akbar had his own commercial.
@Officemonkey Ha! Awesome!
Boba Fett that had a working rocket launcher. I have a chance at one and my mom shot it down like a rocket launcher.
Close second is my all metal r2d2. Soon after release it was replaced by a plastic version.
Still have it, not sure if it’s worth anything
I admit to having purchased for myself an original Millennium Falcon from an eBay seller. (Kenner I think?)

the only one i had (born late 79, first memory is waking up in the theater during ROTJ) was Lando in Disguise as a guard at Jabba’s Palace.
