I don’t know that they were ever “outlawed” (i.e., there is no known penalty), but the general concensus was that they were a nuisance.
What do you suggest? Sitting in the corner? A one-event IRK denial?
Personally, I don’t mind some discussion as long as it is polite and well-reasoned. I’d like to know what others think and more importantly, WHY. Problem is that here it tends to get into personal attacks and no rational explanations given for anything.
For once, Felton gave SOME reason, and I thougt it was somewhat specious, considering history, so pointed that out and was hoping for some additional explanation from him.
As to the exchange above, I thought IndifferentDude’s comment was appropriate (and funny) given the poll topic. Apparently even the leadership of the Democrat party is acknowledging that there are issues with the current Presidency and there are quite a few murmurings of their trying to get Biden to not run again.
I thought Kyeh’s response to a fellow Meh member was both rude and crude, and certainly fanned the flames. I think if she had not posted her insult, it would have all died down promptly. Take her to task, if anybody.
From the many likes given her post, I guess personal attacks are still en vogue here.

No minds have been changed any of the other times it’s been brought up and they won’t be now. It’s best to drop it or take it to a clearly marked political topic…but even with its own topic personal attacks will not be tolerated, so keep it clean.

Tonight we are without electricity and I suspect the garbage disposal. There is a big crack in it and apparently it has been leaking for some time.
There was a spark in the electrical panel and now it is not resetting. Friday night, everyone is gone. Hope the main building panel can be reset, otherwise this is going to be a bad weekend.
