I took a sip from a water bottle (filled with water) and my 5 year old nephew in the back seat starting giving me crap about "drinking and driving", which is ironic since the reason he was in the back seat is because his mother was in prison for hit & run while DUI!
What do I drink in bed? Coffee. What do I drink in the shower? Coffee. At work? Coffee. At home? Coffee. At school? Coffee. While at roller derby practice? Coffee flavored energy drinks.
@narfcake I have never had an automatic. I hate them. I'm on like my 12th or 13th car. Although I have considered a dual clutch 7 speed for my old person car. By that time though my old person car may be a self driving EV...
@narfcake I'm on vehicle number 5. 3 of em were sticks. Currently an automatic but man, I miss driving a stick. Next one will definitely be a stick. After the supermoto... Which will obviously be a stick. Somethin about rpm control that i really miss.
@narfcake I've rented a couple of cars with paddle shifters or that fake stick shift. Why is that so unsatisfying? Worse than just letting the automatic do it for you.
@saodell Click paddle ... one Mississippi, two Mississippi ... next gear; that's aggravating. Also, there's no way to downshift in anticipation of what's next such as when exiting a curve.
@narfcake Two of the three cupholders in my two-seater (yup, more cupholders than seats) are right in my elbow zone behind the shifter. The third is in the passenger seat leg area, sort of, and was the one I would always use until a friend broke it off. Recently I tried using one of the elbowy ones, it did not end well.
Thank you for not listing alcohol as a beverage choice. In my news career I've talked to way too many cops about way too many dead people because someone decided it was still ok for them to drive after or while consuming alcohol. The vast majority of those killed have not been the drunk person and often were just random passers-by. I have no sympathy for those who drive drunk.
@jqubed Here here. I'm a 911 dispatcher and hear way too many of those calls on my shift. Luckily the most recent drunk driver managed to flip her car over a guardrail and spare everyone else on the road. Oh and she was fine.
I chose energy drink but it's water with Mio energy in it...is that water or energy drink I am not sure...I prefer energy drinks to water because water is plain and I need more energy otherwise I tend to stop my constant movements and relax for a minute which would be a terrible thing as I am not one to relax...can I have more caffeine please?
Beer
@DemonMF777 of the nonalcoholic non fermented no hops or grains kind? Aka water? ;)
@DemonMF777 I second that

@MsELizardBeth
You'll love the new caffeinated peanut butter.

@MsELizardBeth What about caffeinated bacon and baconated grapefruit ?
@saodell ZOMG, that is the. Coolest. Thing. EVAR!!!!
Thank you for introducing this into my life. My husband will hate you forever. :)
@saodell omg.
@sjk3 yes to caffienated bacon. No to baconated grapefruit. Allergic to all round citrus fruits.
Usually nothing; the cup holder is below the shifter so everytime I shift into 2nd, 4th, or reverse, the cup gets bumped/knocked.
(Yes, my daily driver is stick shift. And so is my weekend wagon.)
@narfcake I will be teaching my children to drive on a stick. The only way to learn!

@narfcake I miss having a stick shift. But I do love my car, even if she's getting up there in age.
@narfcake -Me too, lifelong manual transmissions.

I still have my first car as my daily driver. Ill miss my 3 door saturn stick when she has to go for a large family car.

Tea. Iced.
@thismyusername @ssteve
Tea. Q'd.
The blood of the vanquished.
@saodell iced, warmed or fresh?
It is a toss-up between coffee and iced tea.
First read this as "what do you think about most when driving?" To which the answer is—why are people so bad at driving/ what are you doing?
@hollboll .. That's because you're driving on the wrong side of the car .. and I'll assume the road as well ... :)
@steve149 I did learn how to drive from a Kiwi so I guess that makes sense.
