In @ignorant’s defense, he repeatedly told us during the voting period that he couldn’t do it. Totally submerged in with at the time. That he would have no free minutes for us.

@mflassy I would say it directly contributed to me being the good Lisa. I made fun of Twisted Lisa and she lost it. Well, I wasn’t the only one, but maybe I was the most annoying?
Anyway, I’d pretty much been under the radar until then.
But she deserved every bit of what she got, from all of us. She was a nasty piece of work. Picking on Meh customer service.
@aetris Chemicals went fine. They are fine for a small room, but too labor intensive for a large room. Clean up was not bad at all though. I should have also said that I was not going for a complete strip. I’m just removing old poly and then re-stain darker. I really like having all the old stains (just not all the paint I was removing) and marks on the floor. They tell a story. New stain is drying (almost three days in this weather) and then I will coat with water-based poly. Much faster drying time and I am not going for perfect.
But I was fucking exhausted by the end of the day.
Top is chemically stripped, bottom what it looked like under the carpet (chemicals on).
