I see the wheels spinning backwards. But, if I focus really really hard, I can imagine that they're going forwards. Anyone else?
which way is backwards #philolliesophy
(if I look at the treads I just see it boucing back and forth and not going anywhere. if I look at the hub then I can make it change directions at will by watching a spot and rotating where I'm focusing clockwise or ccw.)
I see it going forward, toward the right side of the screen. But I can make it go backwards if I want to.
Clockwise
@medz clockwise... my computer just lagged extra hard and the image slowed.
I still think the dress is gold.
@brhfl
@brhfl So do I. I have never been able to see it as black/blue
@bruceoite here ya go
By staring at the top of the closest wheel I'm able to make the wheels go in opposite directions. Wonder what other tricks there are.
@denboy For me, the wheel and the white thing spin opposite directions when it doesn't just look like the wheels are bouncing back and forth.
@PurplePawprints Cool, was totally ably to see that too.
Which direction is the ballerina spinning?
@JonT if looking from the top, counter-clockwise...oh snap, she just switched. Nice try with the trick GIF! Edit: about 25 spins each way in the loop.
@medz I know that it isn't a trick, but I can't get her to go back clockwise.
@JonT I love that they actually included the nipples on her. Pretty sure I watched this 3x longer than I would have otherwise...
@JonT I only see her turning counter-clockwise.
@medz It's not a trick. I can sometimes make it change direction by tilting my head. Also, I counted 100 spins to be sure.
@JonT close my eyes and and think which direction I want to spin in and that's the way she does
I see it going in:
@connorbush I can see the tires going in two different directions, if I want.
Which way is this chair facing?
@mfladd forward right? Not seeing it differently
@bruceoite hint: focus your eyes on the vertical slats.
@mfladd Alright, I get it, but the fact that the slats take an odd turn and get all fuzzy makes it hard to see it the other way
@bruceoite once your optics/brain becomes accustomed to the change the easier it is to change it back and forth at will
Which way is the train going?
@bruceoite
I don't have GIMP on this computer, so I can't check for sure, but I think there are only two frames, so it's not really going either way.
@Dweezle It just looks to me like the slats on the sides are just twitching back and forth.
