@tweezak OSU has an appropriate mascot. There are loads of beavers in Corvallis.
And for some reason geoduck is pronounced gooey-duck.
Wouldn’t have expected something from my area to show up here If you ever tried picking okra, I think Delta Stat’s mascot makes a bit of sense.
The first thing I thought of after reading the question was “fighting okra”
