@haydesigner Mehbe a Sharpie can fix that? Or masking tape and Krylon if you’re hardcore.
What kind of guests do you have that look at the underside of your cabinets and then complain that your fancy under cabinet lighting isn’t up to their standards? GTFO, then!
I would just reach into the cabinet and grab a spray can of guest-B-gone. No more bitchy guests. Problem solved.
I had high hopes, I even signed in in advance just knowing I would want to buy what was on offer tonight. How could I have been so wrong?
Haven’t bought anything but tshirts for months.
@laurict actually almost bought this deal because i saw this in the email, lol. but $14 is for one light, right? and this is just a reference i don’t get? or?
nevermind, i see there are three lights on each strip. oh well. meh on this deal then. (also how have i seen every episode of tng several times over and still there’s always some shit i don’t remember?)
Although I’ve never tried the devices, I wouldn’t recommend installing them as the mediocre crew recommend. I’m pretty sure if they “tuck[ed] under your counters” they wouldn’t do much good. Are there any “under-counter lighting fanatics” out there that can convince me the underside of my granite countertops deserve light, too?
I don’t think I’ll bite this time, but if I did, they’d go under my cabinets, not my counters.
are these any good for lighting rooms with no installed ceiling lights? Space is limited so getting some lighting off of the floor would be really helpful.
When you link them together with the provided cable do all linked lights operate from one switch?
I already have wall switches for the ancient fluorescent lights that don’t work that are under my cabinets now. If I install these will they turn on and off from the wall switch without having to mess with the toggle on the light?
Also a repeat buyer - bought 2 before to check them out, buying more today to finish the job. I installed mine with removable stick-on strips, but am happy enough with them to permanently install them now.
@shargro I never thought my kitchen was all that dark, but now I reach to turn on that lamp whenever I’m prepping food on the counter below where it’s mounted. And when I turn to the other side of the room, to do dishes, now it’s always way too dark over there, and I wish I’d bought one for above the sink as well.

@haydesigner If you really want some leds under your cabinets, just get something like this

Almost bought it until I realized it didn’t come with any Picard.
@lordbowen That will teach ya.
Still waiting for Adventure Time stuff.
@sammydog01 slump off my lumps you chumps
@mandirose - Ping
My LED ropes work perfectly fine thank you.

I thought tonight’s product had something to do with Picard, but was sadly misLED.
THERE! ARE! THREE! LIGHTS!

Today’s MEH button – genius!
@phendrick I won’t know until tomorrow. I’m off the click-wagon.
@phendrick The sunbathing Irk is pretty cool too.

I expect the comments section to be piping full of pipingly off-topic pipery.

You had me at dimmable, got 6.
You have to be careful how you install these, though.
Don’t really need them, but the Picard gifs sold me. Got 2.
Got some of these before. A really excellent product. Super high quality. Beautiful light; dims great. Looks and works perfect.
Wow, I should buy these!
Oh hey, look over there, it’s 40 ft of unused light rope…
never mind.
@dcm714 same, but I bought these to replace the shitty wall lighting that I have now.
Watching TNG right now!

I have no need for these, but the Picard gifs almost had me.
So many questions…
When you link them together with the provided cable do all linked lights operate from one switch?
I already have wall switches for the ancient fluorescent lights that don’t work that are under my cabinets now. If I install these will they turn on and off from the wall switch without having to mess with the toggle on the light?
Repeat buyer, I hope I have enough now to replace most of my hot-as-hell under cabinet lights…

@slml32 removable stick-on strips, just what I wanted to know.
Price is no great shakes.
These have been $15 on Amazon for weeks at a time according to CamelCamelCamel. You save a buck each here, but lose fast shipping.
Amusingly, the price on Amazon popped up to $30 from $15 seconds before the deal on Meh started…

Wow, just wow… Would never pay that price for simple $3.00 LEDs.
Could a lutron caseta lamp dimmer switch control these (ie plug them into the switch and be able to control them remotely, both on/Off and dim) ?
Great buy! Placed under kitchen cabinets and my kitchen looks so modern.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my purchase. I ordered 3 wish I had gotten 4
