I moved here to the bario and I was expecting crying children, random gunfire, the sounds of spousal abuse. But, it's quiet, Too quiet. So I'm getting a tv.
@hallmike yeag really but I got tv with the interwebs and it seems a waist not to have something connected to it. Besides the spousal unit will be coming eventually.
@thismyusername I actually really like my rokus. I'm always finding new stuff that has no reason to exist but is still cool. Now if I could just convince my ISP to stop charging for data overages...
@jqubed Have a choice of Suddenlink 50 Mbps or Windstream 6 Mbps, either for around $50/month. It's a no-brainer, but Suddenlink has a 250GB limit. That sounds like a lot until the grandkids come over. You can't imagine how much data SpongeBob can burn through.
How are your neighbors? I understand G and H live next to one another as well.
@ACraigL I don't see them. they're like roaches, I know they're there but they only come out when i'm not around.
A radio would be even cgeaper.

@cranky1950
Just 1 spousal unit? Not 1 for every room?
Not sure that would be cgeaper tho....
Roku TV.
Relatively cgeap, built in Wi-Fi, and 1000 channels of shit you can't imagine.
@2many2no ...or want.
Speaking of roku... Just found this channel/app for it:
http://pluto.tv/
The really cool thing about pluto.tv is ... Mystery Science Theater 3000 channel! MST3K 24/7 :)

@thismyusername I love MST 3000! They have a Kickstarter to bring it back. Not sure if I learned that here or somewhere else.
@2many2no Data overages are evil, and I bet there's no real alternative in your area, is there?

@2many2no I'd blow through that limit so fast...
@jqubed We've hit 400+ GB a few times. They don't throttle speed, just charge in 50 GB increments.
