42I told you guys a while back that I was getting a service dog and then I managed to go almost 6 months without sharing a pic. That certainly needs to be resolved as he just had his 2nd birthday and has an infinitely boopable snoot.

It’s worth pointing out… Hudson got to go to Build-a-Bear for his 2nd birthday and picked out a monkey before promptly taking a nap on it.
He worries about all stuffed animals and refuses to hurt them. He has several that he just piles up with for cuddles.

we have one fish that will be 8 years old in June. He was one of those WalMart fish; won at a fair. And somehow has set up residence in my house longer than one of my own off spring. I swear he’s going gray too.

@Kyeh She refuses to eat her veggies and fruit. She just want roaches and pinkie mice. And if I try to put her back in her tank before she feels she’s had enough cuddles, she pitches a fit trying not to go in.

@capnjb @Pony cripes around here you can collect 4500 live lady bugs out of your car in one sitting when the season is right. They are all bunched together like bees in a hive in a huge pile. The cats take care of the ones in the apt but don’t eat them as I guess they taste bad.

@capnjb @Pony @tinamarie1974 You can buy live all sorts of insects. Petmart sells live crickets and on occasion (like today) the loose ones get in the cat room and the cats go crazy. Had one in there today. I think he was eaten by cat #2 I let out to run around while cleaning his cage. Cat #1 batted it around but didn’t kill it (and I couldn’t catch it to save it to be eaten by cats. On the other handsomething else would have eaten it after being sold). The other 2 cats didn’t get a live toy.
@capnjb @tinamarie1974 Absolutely! I’ve bought them before through ebay. I ordered 1,000 of them, and the holes in their container were just a liiiiiittle bit too big, so they were able to get out. My mailman came to the door with the box and said “My truck is full of ladybugs, and I don’t know how to get them out for you.”
I lost about half my bugs, but it was definitely hilarious looking in the back of the mail truck and seeing all those ladybugs all over everything.

The lightest colored one is Monty, he will be 6 next month. The black and white is Harry, he’s the baby at almost 2. And the grey and white is Chewy, he will be 4 this summer. They are nibbling on some pea flakes.
The albino rats are Sugar and Spice. The pupper doggy is Jenga.
