There are devices that are basically fixed cameras on an arm that are used in classrooms the same way overhead projectors used to be used. What are they called? I'd like to get one.
@moondrake I've got a projector. The problem to be solved is how to take a paper I'm writing on (or more likely, a game I'm playing) and project it for all to see. This would work well for Concept or Dixit

Thanks. That's good enough to get started.
@nadroj Ah, we have one of these at City Council. Didn't know that's what you called it.
You mean for the Smart Boards?
@jsh139 That is what it seems like. Those are incredibly expensive though.

Video projector might be more flexible.
Check out avsforum.com. Great info and good place to make your own setup seem kinda sad.
Are you talking about LCD projectors?
I bought an old overhead projector from the library at a City auction to use for transfering sketches to canvas or walls for murals.

I miss overhead projectors. I also miss the small of actual dittoes.
@BillLehecka Ya, and the flustered teacher running down the hall to make a few extra dittoes. Dittoe blue fingers from fresh copy smear and smell.
