I do like some horror films. The Fly with Jeff Goldblum is a good example. I also liked the version of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers with Donald Sutherland. Silence of the Lambs may be more of a thriller but it’s great. I also like the classics like Night of the Living Dead. For fun, Killer KlownzFrom Outer Space is epic.
I don’t watch many movies and horror isn’t my preferred genre.
@tweezak
yeah, those are all good movies. I’m not much of a fan of slasher films (Saw. Friday the 13th franchise etc) , but a good story with a horror bent (the Fly, the Shining, Get Out, etc) are fair game…
It’s funny I’ve been talking about a horror movie a lot - John Carpenter’s the thing. Whenever I get together with my friends, although we are all vaccinated. I make everyone do a rapid Covid test. As we all get tested and wait then wait fifteen minutes for the test someone always brings up “test the blood” and how I’m not doing it right because no one is tied up and here is no flame thrower.
Any time of year is good.
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I don’t need any extra fuel for my imagination, thank you.

@chienfou Oh, I forgot about The Shining. That is horror movie gold!
Year round, but watching Jason Lives is a Halloween tradition for me for some reason.
I enjoy sleep too much to watch horror movies
We watch Svengoolie on Saturday. That is it.
I’ll watch horror movies anytime of year but for the month of October it’s strictly horror for me.
The only horror movie I’ll watch - written by bots:
Mr. Puzzles Wants You to be Less Alive
(Seriously, you have to check this out. It’s hilarious!)
If you want to see horror, just watch the local news. People suck.
Give me a good comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, or action film for me to escape from this 18 month horror for at least a couple hours.

I’m not much into horror films, but this one is strange and beautiful and I highly recommend it:
