@simplersimon Technically if you are VMP it is not sold out. I still put the first Yes option, even though I am VMP since I thought they were referring to the original sales.
Got here at 0008 and it’s still available. However, depending on how many (or how little) they have in stock, they could eventually claim that they are sold out.
So not interested in giving google even more insight into my life than they already have, especially since they no longer practice their ‘do no evil’ motto.
I got here a little late. The way I see it, I can sit at the computer just before midnight, refreshing the page constantly to make sure I see the latest offering, or I can check it when I notice it’s after midnight and maybe miss out on something.
Since it’s rarely something I want, I will go with the latter and risk missing out.
When these were on sale before I got here in time to get one, but I thought about it until it was too late. Which I was fine with.
a lot left, Alexa told me so…
It’d be fun to see how this changes through the day. It’s interesting already to see some folks lying

@michaelgj2002 yeah, I was just laughing at whoever hit that the day was almost over and it was still available. It was there within the first minute.
No option for "I got here before they sold out, but didn’t buy one anyway.’ What’s up with that?
@ciabelle and the related “sold out, but don’t care; who pays money for these things?”
@ciabelle They need “I almost never buy anything here anyways and am rarely disappointed when they sell out.”

No option for “not sold out but paused until 8am/4pm”
@sjk3 Yes, strange that wasn’t an option
If Meh keeps the deal paused until the next sale, it won’t sell out.
Where’s the “Yes, and I’m blaming the scapegoat” option?
meh. old technology model. i’ll wait till december. siri thinks my tractor is sexy!
No. You pause deals that sell quickly until eight Eastern, remember?
/giphy low institutional memory
yes… it was sold out. But that won’t stop me from coming here nor will I get up at o dark thirty to see what Meh has on the menu.

“Sold out but that’s okay” isn’t an option.
Yeah, I really wanted to get something that lets Google track me even more.
@radi0j0hn That’s my thinking - I don’t need an audio spy in the house, thank you very much!
My very excellent economics prof when I was an undergraduate always said: “There are no shortages, just prices that are set too low.”
That was decades ago, and when listened-to economists actually had some sense.

I wasn’t going to buy this anyway. The last thing I want is a hot microphone in my apartment connected to Google’s AdSense network.
