@compunaut Ironically that picture is of Keystone which I’ve skied. Favorites in North America so far have to be Whistler/Blackcomb, Deer Valley, and Arapahoe Basin. Most amazing skiing I’ve ever had the pleasure of was Chamonix. But even the smallest mountains are better than doing just about anything else!

@cinoclav My favorite for skiing is Alta (UT), but I don’t like the extra travel time to get there. I’ve been going to Winter Park CO since I was a kid (a LONG time ) and I’ve spent a lot of time at Steamboat (sis-in-law lived there for 15yr). Need to get back to Squaw/Tahoe someday, too

A ski rainbow

@compunaut Considering I live near Philly, any decent skiing is extra travel time. We’ve been talking about getting back to Utah to ski Alta and the surrounding resorts on that side of the range. When we went to Park City we got really lucky as it was Deer Valley’s 30th anniversary and they had $30 lift tickets. Skied there, Park City and got to Canyons for a day. Been to and loved Steamboat, would definitely go back. We’ve skied South Tahoe but I want to return and do North Tahoe. Heavenly was great and the trees at Sierra were awesome. Drove around and skied Homewood primarily for the view and proximity to the lake. Okay area but the feeling you’re going to crest a hill and drop into the lake is worth the drive. This past winter we were going to do Squaw/North Tahoe but decided to drive up to Mont Tremblant instead. Conditions weren’t great but it was still a lot of fun. Talking about returning to Whistler this winter as my one buddy has never been there. I’d like to get back to Taos too, especially with the Kachina Peak lift open now.

@march5th00 There is if you want it to be. Find some pictures, post them, and don’t forget the food and drinks. It’s almost beer time here. The idea is to escape the world, just for a few hours.
Extra points if you can find some lovely vehicle to sail or drive or fly. You post it, it becomes yours.

Your protest does not get you out of wearing that dress i have assigned to you. How you manage the gent’s room is one of the great challenges. Every vacation needs some adventure.

If you keep protesting, i might start looking for lovely complimentary shoes. Think 5-1/2 inch heels. And perhaps a hat or veil…

Our vacations come with child-care, adult care, spouse/partner-care as desired, and summer camp for kids. Also decent summer jobs for those over 16. Tutoring/projects for all. Counseling/jobs for young adults. No worries, someone just took all that away for a while.
