Do these really keep liquids cold for 12 hours? I’m thinking of dropping my Bubba thermos since I’m getting tired of cleaning the small sip hole and chugging it during normal use. I would be using it for iced water.
@timbaker81 While insulated bottles aren’t likely to fall in this category, the idea behind the regular three item limit is to keep a few people from buying all the cool shit at a steep discount and then immediately flipping it on eBay. Selling out a day’s deal is good no matter what, but instead of selling everything to a handful of eBay flippers, Mediocre would rather go wide and get as many people exposed to the deal as possible. More happy customers means more word-of-mouth publicity.
@Felyne@rpstrong I toured a distillery once that supposedly used kids to clean out vats since they would fit into the small opening. They tied a rope around them so they could drag them out if the alcohol fumes were too much for them… maybe that could be adapted.

Mostly use these as office or conventional water bottles.
Small, yes, but definitely keeps stuff cold for a day no problem.
Opening is a tiny bit smaller than 40% of my normal ice cubes, but a tap or some running water drops 'em right in.
Definitely can’t go wrong here.
Not sure if they ran out of pink bottles or if someone in the shipping department is a wee bit color blind. Got a red one instead. These are keeping ice cold forever. Probably buy another 3 when they come back up.

No purple??
@katbyter RIGHT?!
Note to Sean: Mediocritee changed their prices. Either that or I DEMAND A REFUND!
@sammydog01 you know they have their own forum right?
Also yeah, prices went up. They gave a heads up last month.

@RogerWilco Tonight’s Meh writeup quoted the old price. And Sean probably wrote it.
@sammydog01 oh snap. I didn’t catch that at all.
HEY MEH - FIX THAT SHIT.

@JT954 no way! Keep the Bubba!
The Bubba is easy to clean vs. these pencil-neck bottles!
These are really great. No leak problems, looks nice, does the job.
I’ll have a pink one. I got stuck with a 6 year old girl to buy a Christmas gift for, this will be perfect!

Schrodinger’s bottle?
It’s both 3.5" and 10" high.
@CatsAreGods And 9.5" as well. It’s a very indecisive bottle.
KuoH
@CatsAreGods @kuoh Apparently they are growers, not showers.
Too small- No Sale!
I have so many insulated bottles now. I think I like the matte finished bottles better.
What’s the deal with only being allowed to buy 3. I say if I want to buy more let me. You’ll be getting more money from me.

White and pink bottles to complete my set from August!
At last, my quest has reached its conclusion.

@Riotdemon Any chance of changing this to NSFW?
@sammydog01 it’s just a piercing? What’s wrong?
@RiotDemon, @sammydog01 probably won’t answer you. She faints at the sight of needles.
@Barney @sammydog01 then she better not watch this.
Thailand vegetarian festival. The spirits keep them safe from harm while they pierce their bodies.
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 Ah gee, did you have to?
@Barney @sammydog01 must spread knowledge.
@RiotDemon @sammydog01 I don’t think I want to be that smart.
@Barney @RiotDemon @sammydog01 Phuk that!

Great stocking stuffers. Might even use them AS the stockings and hide surprises within them, which might still be warm!

Has any tried sealing diet coke and mentos in these? Would like to know how much pressure they can take.
@hchavers do it and report back, with video. I promise, depending on the results, I’ll buy one.
How big is the opening? Not much good for cold if you cannot get ice cubes in there easily…
/giphy ice ice baby
@haydesigner Unless you have a tray that makes water bottle ice cubes (long skinny ones) I doubt most standard ice cubes would fit.
@haydesigner Fill it part way and freeze it.
@haydesigner @m2pt5 buy a Lewis bag and crush yer ice with a hammer!
@doubltap @m2pt5

I’m down with the red one. garish dinghy substance
If my hands were smaller, I could stick them in there to clean them. But, alas.
@Felyne That’s the children’s job.
@Felyne @rpstrong
A ferret child, perhaps.

@chienfou @rpstrong Job with fringe benefits. Yikes! Shounds like it could work into a Dr Who episoode.
Copy refers to Mediocritee, but has wrong price. Do I win an editor’s prize?
@yeld I gave you a star, does that make you feel happy?
@sammydog01, with the second comment of the evening, already earned the prize.
@RedOak @yeld I deserve a twenty cent coupon. That seems about right.
@RedOak @sammydog01 @yeld there’s an editor’s prize?
@katbyter @RedOak @yeld The have been known to give out a one or two dollar coupon for pointing out errors but I’m pretty sure this was meant as a joke.
Most incredible invention ever- it keeps hot things hot, and cold things cold. But how does it know?!
@MrNews It’s a smart bottle!
I prefer a thermos type with cup attached…
