Got a pair of these of Sidedeal a few weeks ago to replace some aging desk fans. The blades are actually a soft flexible fabric so they’re safe if you stick your hand in them.

They’re quiet and they work, but they barely move any air with their three very thin blades.

These have been my favorite fans to put in my office/workplace. Nearly silent. Moves enough air to make me comfortable and not bother anyone else.
