VMP Sneak Peek: Slash Commands (Part 4)
11Sometimes, before we roll out new site features, we try them out on our guinea pi- er, VMP friends first.
- Y’all went crazy with the
/giphycommand in part 1 of VMP Sneak Peek: Slash Commands. - Then we added the
/shrugcommand and editor auto-completion in part 2. - In part 3, we added
/cowsayto see what it would be like in a forum to add a Unix-style command line application.
Today’s update is a simple one: /youtube [text] searches YouTube for a video:

Phew, this seems simple enough (compared to yesterday’s feature).

They want to know if this feature uses any of the YouTube filters?
@FroodyFrog not sure what a YouTube filter is
@shawn You can turn a filter on in Youtube so that it doesn’t show potential NSFW videos. I have it turned on for my kids’ accounts, but I don’t think it works super well. I’m guessing that’s what @FroodyFrog is referring to, but could be wrong.

These changes are exciting, because it makes me think we could then have really clever events where you get to chain commands together in order to get to the end (maybe the next Fuko will be a mini-text adventure you need to solve in order to get one).
