@vampkat looking back at recent deals, you’re right. Being a dick about makeup brushes is unnecessary. It’s been fairly solid offerings lately. The last few have been pretty “chick stuff” though. With how much morningsave is dominated by this kind of stuff, and how much of it ends up in irks it’s kind a downer to see it on Meh for some of us. Ignore us, we’re just grumpy.

@Oneroundrobb I get it. I complain right next to everyone, but I’m sick of people taking it sexist. I don’t go “great, tools and speakers, it sure is getting manly on this site!”, and I’m sick of seeing double standards. Cranky away, just keep the comments to what you’re complaining about and not about the inherent “sex” the object appeals to. I’ve been with meh when it was woot, and I’m sure women use this site just as much as men do, but men think their wants should outweigh women’s and it’s totally BS. I call it out when I see it because some men don’t even realize they are being misogynistic. The rest? Bugger off.

@therealjrn and you don’t hear me going “this site is getting too manly” when they do tools and such. Stop making it about gender and more about the products. Btw, women shop this site, as I’ve been a woman my whole life and I have been shopping this since it was woot, so they are appealing to EVERYONE, not just your male ego.

@MrNews Many of us were using things like this for ink blending way before the craft companies started selling these for 10X the price. These blends die ink and Distress Oxides so easily it’s amazing!

@lwmctz No, men just complain super loud whenever things don’t go their way and it’s about women. Crap on here they don’t like, complain. Crap on here they don’t like that’s aimed towards women, it’s sexist!!! When they sell toys and such they don’t complain “this is a grown up site, why are they selling kinect toys and cars SO MUCH omgggg” because that doesn’t play into their toxic masculinity.

@sammydog01 I do read the comments. Women don’t typically complain about men things being sold, men complain about women things being sold. It’s pretty simple. When something only comes in men sizes, women might go “can’t we get all sizes?” But they don’t go “Omg, more men stuff today, guess this site is catering to men now!”. It’s misogyny and I’ll call it when I see it. You may not even notice it.

Do they complain when there’s three days of kids toys saying “this site is turning into a site for kids, it’s not fair!” no. They don’t. If you are a woman, you should KNOW this happens all the damn time and shouldn’t be arguing with me about the inherent sexism on sites like this.
