@garyhgaryh aaack lost my post clicking outside the box. If you can check it out visually, or better yet get a test flight, you'll be able to assess its airworthiness. Working, it's well worth that.
My only issue is that dji's wifi based fpv is too laggy for anything but slow flight and framing shots. But for aerial video that's really all you need.
@djslack I'm thinking of buying it.. Won't tell my wife, but for that price it's well worth it. It comes with the iOSD, wifi, bigger battery. Yeah wifi is slow, but I'll use it for framing... For some reason getting into this hobby is draining my account. I don't need another hobby after this one.
@garyhgaryh I felt the same way when I started mountain biking. "No more new hobbies! This stuff is expensive!" Then once again when I took up SCUBA diving. And snowboarding. And fly fishing. And, heaven help my credit cards, building hot rods. After that I decided it was just better to live in denial. :-)
@ruouttaurmind haha, try HPDE, or, tracking your car! brake pads and rotors over and over and over again, then tires! then gasoline, over and over and over again.
@sportykev Oh ya. I messed with dirt track racing a few years ago. Race on Saturday night, spend Sunday fixing everything that broke, race again next Saturday, spend Sunday... it was like Ground Hog Day! I couldn't afford to keep up with the car repairs every week!
@ruouttaurmind Tell me 'bout it. I'm into mountain biking, road biking (I currently do hill climbs on mt diablo twice a week), skiing, and hot rodding my cars... oh man.... My wife just wants me to grow up (that's what I think she thinks of me). I have 8 cars and I promised to get rid of two this year. :(
@sportykev Yup, I used to autocross and drag race a few years ago. I'm currently trying to build an e-car so I bought a used netgain motor. Cars, bikes, and photography are expensive (yeah I'm into photography as well).
@ruouttaurmind Before you mentioned it, I would have guessed you're into cars as well. I'm into forced induction cars of all types. I really love the Grand Nationals, GMC Typhoon/Syclones, Supras, etc. I supercharged an e30 M3 using a vortech supercharger running only 6psi due to high compression (10.5:1). I would love a vette! What's your preference?
@garyhgaryh Nice selection! I started with my first car in high school, a 1970 Camaro with a stove bolt 6 and powerglide trans. After blowing up the motor at a "run what you brung" race at the local 1/4 mile strip, I shoehorned in a 454 and TH350. From there I had a handful of classics from the '60s and '70s. Anything from a '66 Falcon 390ci to a '76 Eldo convertible with the thirstiest 500ci v8 I've ever seen. I as my mechanic skills evolved, my tastes refined and I started focusing on American muscle. '72 Olds Cutlass, '66 Chevelle, '76 Vette Stingray (though arguably not a muscle car, still a Vette)... so many cars have come and gone. When I sell a car I put the license plate on the wall in the garage. Last I counted I had 35 plates on the wall. A few years ago I started feeling confined by just rebuilding and restoring, and started getting into vintage hot rods. Right now I have a 1923 Ford Roadster hot rod project in the garage. I started with a set of CCR blueprints and a dream. LOL!
@ruouttaurmind I always wanted a 454! I have three engines on the stand now and 2-3 extra heads laying around. Of course the wife wants them gone cuz they take so much space. I want to get a barn! I love the stingrays. I post some pics of my car projects when I have the time.
@garyhgaryh The 454 in the Camaro was pretty punchy, but the meanest engine I ever owned was a bone stock 440 in an old '72 Imperial Crown. Even in a 5,200lb car that thing was a beast. 440ci, 767 TorqueFlite trans, 8 1/4 corporate rear with stock gears... that thing would turn 12's all day long! LOL!
I'd buy it for that price.
@djslack He has crashed it a few times, but if it works I think its worth it.

@garyhgaryh I wouldn't have guessed you for a car guy. Is there a preference? Vette? Vintage? Imports?

How do I delete two threads I accidently created (with same content)?
