Tzumi nami
6I just noticed that three of my last seven meh purchases (or four of the last nine, depending on whether you count individual items) are from Tzumi. It’s a virtual Tzumi nami.
As it happens, they sell headphones (I expect those henceforth) and have an app so named, sort of.

While I’m here, I should mention that the dockable waterproof speaker is working well and may serve as a replacement for my Jam Splash, when that sucker dies. It doesn’t light up when it charges though (or is it not charging? argh). We’ll see.
It’s way loud for its size. Which is nice in the shower, 'cause, yaknow, all of the background noise.
So we’ve heard.
@llangley
If I sang in the shower, this would probably be true.
@joelmw It is indeed supposed to illuminate red while charging. I had to jostle mine around a bit on the dock to get it to connect.
@PooltoyWolf
Thanks for the headsup.
I’ve been trying to run mine down so that I know it needs a charge. I don’t use it every day, so it’s taking a while (and, another plus, seems to have decent battery life, so it’s got that going for it too).
@joelmw The only thing I don’t like about mine is the obnoxious power-on tune it plays. LOL
@PooltoyWolf I’m with you on that. The damned thing is loud.
@joelmw Specifically, that second-to-last note hits near the resonant frequency of the speaker driver, so it really pierces your ears. LOL
We love Faux-Texan @joelmw.
(So called, as he refused to admit to being a Real Texan.)

@f00l A wise man he is.
@mfladd
Ha. You, in particular, seem to be someone who would quite like it here. Even if you pretended to be a full time grump.

i brought the USB quick charger last week got it and was really pleased with the quality, soild feeling and working great. Wished that i had order two. Its the main reason i ordered the battery pack. if the build quality holds ill be happy with that too.
@deenK I’m pissed about the charger (not really, more sad than anything; I get that shit happens). They oversold. My colleague got hers almost immediately and I like the look of it. I got an email telling me I’ll never get mine. But they gave me a coupon, so I shouldn’t complain. I shouldn’t complain, but clearly I am complaining. And I’m fine with my complaining.
@deenK I say “I’m fine with my complaining” but, really, I can complain much better than this.
Though I guess that works too, because we all know that “fine” really means that something’s wrong.
