17No, I didn’t lose my keys. Those things are terrible for that…
Son has a White Elephant gift exchange- rule was we had to gift something already in the house, not allowed to buy something. Kid didn’t tell me until last minute… Of course. He knew he had to come up with something week’s ago.
I quickly found about a dozen trackrs lying around from various IRKs that I curse Meh every time they arrive. White elephant gift secured and half my trackrs gotten rid of. Two birds with one stone.
So people, all those trackrs do have a purpose. Think there might be another white elephant coming up so the rest will be gone soon.

Which is great, except that the app is no longer supported and you can’t register a new one.
I have a dozen of them and when I decided I wanted to use one, the app had died like 2 weeks earlier.

@lonocat @LJeAYsy4LoqxEC Problem is, that app does not work. That app is not a solution to anything. The Trackrs that some of us bought(I know…) week’s before the shuttering of the service are completely useless.
I don’t believe Meh had any advance knowledge before the shut down. Nevertheless, some of us actually sent Meh money for these(I know…) so it is disappointing that they haven’t addressed the issue.
@elfunkman @lonocat I was able to pair my trackrs with swiftfinder and use it to ring one. Doesn’t work to reverse find my phone but that’s okay. Finding the lost item is more useful.

I will retract my comment that SwiftFinder is completely useless with Trackrs. I’ll test soon, but I have no reason to believe it won’t work for me too.
Meh? Any updates from your end to those of us that actually purchased Trackrs(I know…)? You’ve said you had no idea the company was about to go under and I 100% believe that.
Any chance you’ve asked about them making the app code open source? After all they did shower you with these duds most likely, but definitely not assuredly, knowing they would be closing shop soon.
I really don’t think we need the Great Trackr Recall of 2021! However, I am curious as to how this all went down on your end and your thoughts about Trackr the company and the Mehtizens who purchased these(I know…)?

@elfunkman @lonocat android for me but I will see if I can test out pairing on an iPhone as well.

@mycya4me No!!! Stop spreading the misery and pain that Tracker owners feel, especially those of us who directly paid for them(I know…).
That 3rd party software does not work with Trackr.
They are not even good as poker chips. Would you sit at a table where these electronic chips actually called “Trackr” were being used?
