I’m thinking about giving most of my 96 trackrs to the Venezuelan family that panhandles near my Whole Foods. I think they could make some money off them by selling in Venezuela or something. What do you think?
@jmruru A $20 bill would probably help them way more than a box of useless trackers, especially if most of the batteries are already dead. This would just be a round about way of throwing them away in another country’s landfill on someone else’s dime.
@jmruru Sounds like a good way to have them end up in the street, getting run over by traffic and creating even more debris that the city has to clean up.
Littering by proxy is even more uncool than straight-up tossing it on the lawn of City Hall at 3AM.
@werehatrack electronics are coveted and appreciated in South America. These folks are living in a shelter and not on the street. Things we take for granted…
@jmruru Electronics that work are definitely coveted and appreciated, but the utility of these has multiple limitations. It would be wise to explain what these do, and exactly what the user must have before they are functional (an Android phone and the ability to install the SwiftFinder app), and let them decide whether it’s worth sending the TrackRs onward.
After some great advice, I had recommended to me the Swifter app
For the Trackr
SwiftFinder
no
i have more trackRs them things ai would need to find!
@jchizmar At this point, anyone who has scored more than one IRK (and sometimes, even just one) has more TrackRs than they have uses for them.
