This is made for your car if the charger didn’t give it away. It’s supposed to be grippy and not require you to precisely center your phone. I have always had intentions of building some kind of tray to put in the center console of my car for toss-down phone charging, now I don’t have to!
@djslack My husband has a fancy electric car that charges his phone when he tosses it onto the console. My 17 year old ford truck has no such amenities. I just bought one of these so I can pretend I’m fancy too.
Doesn’t seem any faster than my way older Nokia charging plate. I’ll have to check the output of the Nokia wall wart I’m using. Also disappointed when my Pixel 4XL was only charged to 89% overnight. WTF?
