Top 5 list
6Yeah I know things like this have been done before, but I promised content when running for GoaT for life, not unique content (as can be shown by my joke topic).
This one is top 5. Give the top 5 of anything and have others guess the topic.
My previous lists were all Star Trek related. Let’s see if I do better this time…

@Thumperchick Teas?
@Thumperchick
Martini?
@jst1ofknd @Thumperchick Hot Martini? WTF is that? Sounds like the latest top-40 band I have no idea about whatsoever…
@Thumperchick coffee?
@shahnm @Thumperchick
I have no idea. I’ve never had a martini…
Other thought is dragons (imagined dragon) I don’t know…
@jst1ofknd @Thumperchick You have to be very, very careful around imagined dragons, boozy with cheap vodka.
Chicks.
@mike808 That’s my favorite wrong answer so far.
@Thumperchick Names for rappers?
@Thumperchick @therealjrn @jst1ofknd @moonhat I don’t get the drink related answers, why would you imagine coffee? If you want coffee, get coffee. And this said as someone who loves coffee but now it gives me migranes, so I can’t (even decaf I get migraines). I don’t sit with “imagined coffee” thinking “this is just as good.” No, I either get chickory or, if that isn’t available, sit thinking “this sucks.”
@jst1ofknd @mollama @therealjrn @Thumperchick hmm.
@jst1ofknd @mollama @moonhat @therealjrn It’s definitely drink related.
Imagined because this drink was introduced in a book series, then film, and now real.

@shahnm I’m curious why AA is before AAA, though… Are these batteries ranked by usefulness?
@Thumperchick I might be a little boozy w/ cheap vodka…
@shahnm Ah, so batteries by size then.
@shahnm Bra sizes? (I’m reading the last as “GEE”)
Meh forum
Nope. Didn’t put just one item by mistake. This top 5 has only one entry…
@jst1ofknd the only forum you spend your time on?
@RiotDemon
Correct. Counting Facebook and all the other social media sites.

@DrWorm - I thought I had a good image, but anyway - you’re right!
@aetris @DrWorm I don’t understand.
@RiotDemon - They’re the top five Top Five actors.
@aetris @RiotDemon
I still don’t understand.
@jst1ofknd - Hmmm, well I’d hate to suggest you watch the film…
@aetris @jst1ofknd @RiotDemon There is a movie titled “Top Five”
@aetris @DrWorm @RiotDemon
I now have understanding. Thank you for the enlightenment.
I am seriously unplugged. I have no idea about things including politics, movies, or anything really.
@jst1ofknd - Top Five is a movie it is completely reasonable to have no idea about!

@medz Playmates.
@medz “Mambo Number 5” women?
@DrWorm yeah. Was gonna do my personal top 5 ladies, but thought that would be crass.
@medz I think the names might have jumped out to me, not because I was a big fan, but because I used to car pool with a guy to pass the time, we would have “lyric trivia”. The goal wasn’t to “stump” the other guy (“I don’t have a clue”), but give a lyric that he definitely recognized but couldn’t quite place (“dang it, what is that from???”)
He gave me one of the semi-recognizable opening lines. “Everybody in the car, so come on, let’s ride to the liquor store around the corner” (skipping the opening “1,2…3,4,5”, which would have totally given it away)
Me: Oh…I know this one… its that German guy
Him: What? No, you are way off.
Me: No, no…I got… he is German and he added words to that 50’s song…
Him: (Interrupting) Dude, give up. Its not what you think it is.
Me: The original band leader was a Desi Arnez type… mambo… “Mambo Number Five”!
Getting a song correct wasn’t an atypical occurrence, but the fact that (in his mind) I seemingly went from totally lost to getting the right answer in a blink of an eye surprised him so much that it was especially satisfying.
tl;dr The original “Mambo #5” is a 1950 instrumental and Lou Bega is a native-born German. In addition to German, he also speaks fluent English.

@moonhat That was tacky.
@moonhat yachts
@mike808 what’s tacky?
@Kidsandliz yes but specifically sailboats.
@moonhat Nautical humor.
@mike808 oh I get it. Good one…I guess
@moonhat Umm but to be a “Real” sailboat they need to be a tall ship (says the woman who has a USGS license for, amongst other things, tall ships but has owned a flying junior and a Barnett in the past - both well beyond their prime when I bought them which meant no need to worry about them looking good ).
@Kidsandliz okay! makes sense to me
Here you go - it’s a two-fer:

@mike808 5 syllable words?
@moonhat that’s 1 of the 2-fer.
There are over 2,500 words with 5 syllables. You’ll have to be more specific.
