I’m surprised at all the Darwin Award nominees lately dealing with Tide Pods.
Now there is a go fund me trying to get donations to make vitamin packs that look like laundry pods.

It has zero donations.
No donations because it isn’t potato salad. I couldn’t believe all the donations that guy got.
Their website says “coming soon”. I’m not sure it’s even a real thing.
@sammydog01 probably not. Most people that are legit would use Kickstarter or similar. Go Fund Me is usually for personal donations… at least in my experience.
@RiotDemon They’re at least pretending it is- from updates:
@SluggerOtoole @sammydog01 @RiotDemon
It started off on Kickstarter, but was cancelled for violating their policy of no dietary supplements.
It was then put on Indiegogo, but was suspended there as well.
@PlacidPenguin Cool. Thanks for checking.
@PlacidPenguin Anything about this that violates GoFundMe yet?
@narfcake Does anything violate GoFundMe?
@narfcake
Here’s the relevant part of the Terms and Conditions.

@SluggerOtoole This is how I imagine we got our current president. ’
Started out as a bad thing that made people sick.
Was joked about.
Picked up steam on Reddit ironically.
Eventually the irony fell away, media coverage increased leaving a dangerous trend.
sigh
@RiotDemon They definitely won’t regret those
@SluggerOtoole I especially can’t wait until the second guy’s leg hair grows in.
Update- they just realized this was a stupid idea.

@sammydog01 I’m guessing weed is legal where they are.
@ThomasF It’s the pod eyes that really makes this. Bravo for attention to detail.
