Third party app for DJI drone control
0The French company Drone Volt just released a new iOS app, DroneVolt Pilot, that claims to be a better autopilot control system for DJI drones. Currently only available for iOS, they have an Android version in the works as well.
I took a quick look at the demo and I have to say, it surely looks more friendly than the DJI app, and has more interesting features.

So, did you keep your 3?
@fultonmartin Nope. I returned the P3 to Sam's the week before Christmas. It was a nice aircraft, but there were just too many things that weren't right. Specifically the camera capability sucks, and the dependence on the app for activation and such is a buzz kill for me. I'm a repeat buyer for under $400 out the door. Or the P3 Pro for $800.
The app is only $29.99, BUT then I gotta spend $600 on a P3!
@sportykev P3 Standards are everywhere for $500. In fact, I think it was B&H that had them for $500 with an extra battery last week. Heck, it's tax return season! Surely you can swing it... ;-)
@ruouttaurmind I filed for an extension and STILL waiting for my return. Though that cash will probably go towards more Enfamil QQ
