Omg. I am gutted. I’ve always loved this hoodie. I just went back and watched the videos and said to myself that I can finally afford it since it’s half price.
My size is sold out.

@RiotDemon Buy one size up and hot wash it down to your size maybe?
@Targaryen I’m not tiny. The sizes they have are all too small.
@RiotDemon @Targaryen At least you know that most other meh fans are about your size.
@RiotDemon Ah, sorry that didn’t occur to me. Maybe this has better options?
@Targaryen except it’s not a crazy light up wizard hoodie
Edit: was commenting on my link, not the original hoodie you linked. That had plenty of options.
@moondrake I’m not sure if that’s comforting or not, haha
@RiotDemon It’s not too hard to put lighting in and on clothes. If you could find something that fits and looks right, you could add the rest yourself. You could even do color changes, response to sound, etc.
@craigthom I thought about that afterwards. I’m not sure how to do the lighting changes. I’ve heard about Arduinos and started looking into that a little tiny bit for a different project.
The hoodie was neat because it actually has gesture controls.
I don’t know when I would of actually worn it and not felt like an idiot. So maybe it’s for the best, haha
@RiotDemon It would have to be a geeky party.
Arduino or something similar (smaller). Gestures you could do with accelerometers in the sleeves.
The current LEDs draw ramps up the more you have, but there’s room in the cloak to use AA batteries (or LiPo if you are ambitious).
You can get the parts at Adafruit, or you can save money and get them from China via AliExpress or eBay if you don’t mind waiting a few months.
@craigthom guess I have a lot more research to do. The accelerometer seems like it would be a good addition to a wizard staff. To actually make it change when you move it around.
I wish I had more time in my life.
“Hey Frank, I just got this design ticket for a Beetlejuice robe, but I never saw that movie. Can you describe what he looked like real quick?”

“Well I think he wears a striped suit, or maybe a maroon tux… He has Old Greg’s hair but a little lighter colored… and his face looks dead? That about covers it I think.”
“Okay thanks I have the perfect mental image.”
@Moose Yeah, swing and a miss.
@Moose He looks like the hamburlgar
@jmoor783 Maybe the illegitimate love child of the Hamburglar and Shirley Temple?

Love the Cape and Halloween is right around the corner. Oh the possibilities!!!
I’m buying this! I’ve been shopping for a warmer hooded sweatshirt because my office is freezing!

Shopping sales on ThinkGeek was one of my precursors to shopping Meh- a lot of people were amazed at the Christmas gifts I found for them, and the geeky stuff I sported.
