There's a Windows Phone back in production
5One of the blogs I read has alerted me to the fact that there was so much demand for the Wileyfox Pro that it is now back in production at a cheaper price: https://wileyfox.com/products/wileyfox-pro

Meh…
As one of the roughly 0% still using a WP,
WHY?!?!
They just need to make a small surface tablet with phone abilities.
still have 1 collecting dust around here somewhere.
Not that it matters since Microsoft itself has walked away. A shame since the OS was clean and simple and it would have been nice to maintain an alternative.
BTW, one of our daughters is still using a Microsoft Nokia 640 that we paid $23 for… please don’t turn us in for child abuse.
@RedOak I was going to suggest a trade-in, but alas, Amazon is only buying the XL.
It’s worth up to 0.95!
@narfcake haha. We’re not too concerned - we figure we’ll have fully amortized that $23 over the 18-24 months she uses it. Then it goes into the tech grave yard box in the basement.

Yikes. I had the Nokia 1040 because of the camera. That phone was so slow and horrible–my boyfriend convinced me I had to get a new one because my GPS and phone would crap out 80% of the time, really unreliable.
I’m suspicious of this product.
It has both a 2mp & an 8mp rear camera?
And it has 16Gb ROM memory?
@rtjhnstn Looks like they meant a 2mp front camera and by “ROM” they really just mean “storage”. This is a fairly low-spec phone by 2018 standards.
Sorry to crush all your hope… but it’s sold out.
