@medz Well Done! This is one of those songs that I use when installing audio equipment as a reference grade test. Crank it up loud, and watch people smile!!
Yeah, thought about posting that version too.
Love Waits.
The one I really wanted was a solo concert version of Marni Nixon doing the song (her singing voice was dubbed in for Natalie Woods’ voice in the West Side Story film. Supposedly, Ms Woods was not told that her own singing voice been replaced by Ms Nixon’s.)
But I couldn’t find a good cut on Youtube of MN doing that song.

@f00l Oh, I don’t know the first thing about Marni Nixon. But I’ll try to keep an open mind… musicals are usually not my thing.
@UncleVinny
Marni Nixon did the on-screen singing for Deborah Kerr in The King And I, Natalie Wood in West Side Story, and Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady.
She was on-screen as one of the nuns in The Sound Of Music (“How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?”)
You might say she could carry a tune.
Listening to her cover the traditional standards was quite a treat.
@cranky1950
/giphy You are cranky.

I can’t ever see/hear “there’s a” without ending it (mentally or verbally) with A RATTLESNAKE IN MY BOOT!
