@werehatrack that, and the week after! My 92yo grannie is unfortunately in a nursing home, and she loves her some peeps. She gets so excited when she sees the package and immediately starts repeating bite till i can get it opened for her. I stocked up the week after and got her all sorts of different flavors for .25 a pack.
@Kidsandliz@werehatrack Thank you She was/is such a very special person to me. I do everything I possibly can to brighten her day. She went in for neck surgery 18yrs ago to repair damage from a car accident and was supposed to go home the next day. Well…that didnt happen…she had 3 massive strokes in the recovery room. She was healthy as could be prior to that and started every morning out with a 5 mile run even at 74!
@chienfou 🥹 Thank you so much. I spent more time at her house than I did my own I think lol. She lived on the same road as us. We were always shopping, crafting, baking/cooking as she taught me her recipes, and up to some sort of shenanigans as she was a huge jokester and enjoyed making others smile. After everything she did for me, including the morals she instilled, the absolute least I can do for her is visit as often as Im able (no less than 3xs a week unless something happens like my surgeries last week. Id go daily but we are 1.5hrs away)and have goodies in tow. Anything to see her smile!!! When i feed her dinner on those days, she usually says she made it and its good so i should try a bite. It warms my heart and lets me know that I properly aka her way learned to cook. It breaks my heart bc she went in for what was supposed to be a simple procedure to repair damage in her neck sustained during a car crash and was supposed to go home the next day. Instead, she had 3 massive strokes in the recovery room. She was so healthy prior and was always doing benefit 5 and 10Ks and started each morning with a 5 mile run even at 74yo. I apologize for writing a book lol but anything with my sweet Grannie tugs at my heartstrings. Thank you again so much for your kind words.
Around here we tend to be verbose. No need to apologize about using all the words Meh could stop selling anything and this would still be an active forum Heh.

Oh wait. meh actually SELLS things? Here I thought it was a site that just put up daily pictures so we’d click the meh button.
They really ought to make a shirt of those meh buttons (actually I have the only one they did make of those that has an entire year of buttons on it making a meh face).
A bit late. The day after Easter is the time to buy Peeps.

@PurrpetualNap @werehatrack That’s sad about your grannie. I’m glad you could supply her with something she likes.

I’m glad you found us. We are a bit of an eclectic bunch but there is “room at the inn” for everyone.
