@kjady Amen. Starting in April, I start having this sense of anticipatory dread in the back of my mind, and it keeps ramping up all through spring. I love spring, but I can’t fully enjoy it knowing that hell is approaching.
@detailer UGH, yes. At least one of my neighbors finally hired a guy who uses all battery-operated equipment and it’s SO great; you can hardly hear him over there. He’s also way faster than the obnoxious noisy 3-person crew that used to spend hours on their small yard. They were getting ripped off by that company for sure.
Allergies for sure.
I have horrible allergies that start in spring and go till winter dries everything out. So a couple weeks ago my nose started to get blocked and I didn’t think anything of it. It got super bad so I went to the dr and got antibiotics. The next day I woke up and thought I was gonna die bc I was coughing up so much stuff I was coughing so much couldn’t breath. It felt like I had been hit a bus my body hurt so bad and really hurt to breath. I ended up having pneumonia really, really bad. I ended up having to get 7 days of shots to get better. I ended up getting my dad sick with pneumonia and he’s in the hospital right now and also has sepsis. So it’s been quit fun.
I love spring!
The fact that summer is just around the corner.

Bugs come out from wintering.
@katbyter The Millers have come calling.
@2many2no @katbyter We’ve already had three of these bastards infiltrate our house.
@2many2no I have two cats for those.
Weather swings are definitely up there. Going from historic rainfall that flooded houses not far from us to over 100F in the same week is kinda crazy.
The cactus growing wildly. The best part is learning which ones will actually grow flowers.
The never ending chorus of lawn mowers and string trimmers.
@detailer and the unpleasant odor of Eau de Round-Up…
@bee1doll A true olfactory delight. Cough…cough…1-800-LAWYERS.

The top three, plus I hate mowing the Grass!

@Star2236 Oh NO! Sorry to hear about that - horrible! I hope you’re both better soon.
@Kyeh
Well I am. Dads still suck on the hospital, making small improvements.
@Star2236
Scary - I hope he’ll be okay.
There are no bad parts about spring.
Me… looking at my car’s sunroof with itchy eyes and leaky nose.
/giphy this is useless
I hate nothing about Spring, it’s wonderful. Even the psychotic weather swings. Even a foot of snow will melt off in a few days.
I like snow. I like snow I don’t have to shovel even more.
