The new Sansa Clip Sport is mediocre. Meh please sell me one or find the last stash of Clip Plus.
6So my last Sansa Clip died today. It is stuck "refreshing media." I wasn't initially too bummed as its given me a number of years of solid preformance.
But now I am concerned. After doing some initial research into a replacement, the latest model Clip Sport is getting mediocre reviews. I'm not too excited about paying over $50 for a mere 4GB replacement Clip Plus and the Clip Zip doesn't seem to be any better than the Sport.
So since the Clip Sport is average, meh why not sell me one at a price I can't refuse? Otherwise please find the remaining stash of Clip +
I'm open to any other suggestions for a comparable mp3 player that is equal in ease of use and low cost. And I'm not apple/iTunes compatible.

You need a ZUNE!
:)
check with @JasonToon he has a brown one he might part with.
@thismyusername @jimmyd103 NEVER! (In other words, the bidding starts at $250.)
@JasonToon @thismyusername Aww come on.
@thismyusername Loved my Zunes.
I love my old Sansa's. If an old stash can be found it would be a Gold Strike for Meh.!
@mfladd At work we had to shred 3 of them. We used to run our hold music from sansa clips, new system didn't use an external player, it's drop the mp3 in a folder and you're golden!
I bought a purple refurb Sansa 4GB Clip + in May on Ebay, but they seem to be out of that color :(. However, they do have refurb black ones for $30.98/free shipping.
I have three left and I'm not parting with them. One of the best Woot buys ever.
I have 2 blue Sansa Clips (a 2GB and 4GB) that I got from Woot. Best things since sliced bread. I was just checking prices and didn't realize they are now worth their weight in gold. Was hoping to snag a purple one, but I'll settle for my half-of-purple blue ones.
@heartny I own at least five. 1 black 2GB Clip with a broken clip. 1 black and 1 blue(not pictured) 4GB Clip+ both with broken clips. And 2 Clip Zips (a 4GB and 8GB). Both of the Zips are dead, 1 keep refreshing media (the one that spurned this post). The other one's controls are dead. Here's a pic of the four that 1 found at my desk...
@jimmyd103 These are my beloved Sansas, including a "vintage" non-Clip in pink.
@heartny I used to have two of those vintage ones. I gave them away after I bought my clips. The ones listed on ebay have prices in the $100 range.
@heartny those look brand new
@heartny - I never thought I'd live long enough to hear MP3 players described as "vintage".
I have a 4GB ClipZip (!) fortified with a 32GB SD card and the Rockbox operating system. Unfailingly reliable, and there's room for more than the 5000 songs I've stuffed into it.
I have three Sansa Clips (a 1 GB and two 2 GB) that I bought from Woot. Even though the clip part has snapped off two of them, they are my favorite things that I bought from Woot. I use at least one of them every day. I would love to have some more that still have the clip on them. They are the best.
You may have tried this, but I have a Sansa Fuze that did that. I pushed the power switch up and held that sucker. After a couple of minutes, it finally shut down. I waited a while, and when I powered it up again, it was back to normal.
@lbrannick Yeah I tried the hard reboot and no luck.
I love my iPod classic, for the fact that it's not a damned touch screen (those of us who actually do real work can't be stopping every 10 minutes to dick with a touch screen.) Only Apple product I own, and like their earlier PCs (the ][+, IIE), they just had to go and fuck it up by dumbing it down and making it "trendier".
I've repaired it a few times, but if/when it dies, I'll probably replace it with a FiiO--heard a lot of good things about them, though I don't know how good the file management is.
@Sapper Looks interesting, but I could get a couple of nice Sansas for that price.
