The Man in the Yellow Hat: Maybe It Bothers Me More Than It Should

I once did a reading of Curious George in which I delivered it in the style of Wednesday Addams, complete with deconstructionist asides like “The man in the yellow hat traffics in endangered species” etc. I might still have the notes somewhere. It was very dark.

I personally preferred the punny Amelia Bedilia series.

Now I only watch subverted kids shows because I’m dark, edgy, and Cool.
