Have you ever wanted to have a closer look at the trucks you’ve seen? If so, this is YOUR event. Participants get to be up close and personal with TRUCKS. Plan on seeing, touching, climbing in and exploring dozens of different trucks and service vehicles in a fun and safe kid friendly environment.”

@captamehrican it can refer to what @ELUNO said. They’ll have fire trucks, ambulances, cherry pickers and the like for kids to get on/in and ask questions about.
It can also be a charity event where you pay the (preannounced amount) donation to put your hand on a truck (usually new pickup donated by a car dealership) and keep it there until you just can’t (tired, cramp, bathroom, etc) and let go. Everyone starts at same time and last one with a hand on wins the truck.
Sometimes an event has both elements, at least during the day.
I think this 2nd is what @mikibell is talking about due to comments about up early and long fun day. They usually start 1st thing in am and have music and a party-like atmosphere, and can go over 24 hours.
If Miki is doing the first, is probably manning a truck to answer questions and keep kids safe, so still up early and long fun day.

@mollama @CaptAmerica It’s what @ELUNO described. This is a biggie event for @mikibell’s Boy Scouts. They make some money for their scouting projects and camp and get to have a lot of fun while doing it.

Of course the adults get a little tired…

regular pricing is half price. when they have too many copies of something, they clearance a bunch of them for much less $.

a few feet east of Central Expressway, just across the freeway from Northpark Mall, kinda.
bigger, perhaps, than a Walmart Supercenter.

so, so worth it. take a day. (they have a cafe). if you wanna risk it, take credit cards.

@f00l Westover Village, near Carswell NAS/JRB. Haven’t been to flagship store; to be honest, don’t usually wander that far east any more (unless I just have to go to IKEA or REI).
Did take my youngest to the Meyerson for a concert when his piano teacher gave us free tickets. And the whole family went to the Perot Museum for some special exhibit 2 or 3 years ago.
