Thanksgoating – Day The Last. Adieu
19Well, here we are. End of the road.
It has been wonderful to spend the month with you all. Thank you for letting me spill my thoughts upon this canvas. I really did have a very busy month, but I did my best. When @kyeh messaged me and asked if I’d be ok doing this, my immediate response was, ‘No. Life is too hectic at the moment.‘ Then I thought about it for a bit and decided that this might just be everything I needed right now. It was. And it’s been fun. Thank you all.
I’ve been through some things. Thanks for letting me share a bit of my story. It’s been helpful to have the conversation. I’ll not draw this last one out, so in the words of Douglas Adams, So long and thanks for all the fish… and the therapy.
It’s time for me to go to the upside down.
T-Minus Zero. All systems are go.
Lift off.

Best month of GOAT stories in a VERY long time! Well Done!!
Thanks for all the great stories! I’ve enjoyed them
You are still allowed to post as often as you wish. I like your flair for telling stories and positive spin on life.
I think your stories have pushed me in a positive direction that I needed but have had trouble finding. Several posts have really had me nodding and thinking. I have not gotten to where I comfortable sharing details but I do need to thank you for posting your thoughts.
@speediedelivery Take your time. But letting it all out can be healing. I’ve said it before, I am proud and stubborn and talking to a therapist was certainly not my thing. But when things became overwhelming I did it. It was a difficult first step. Humbling. Each hour I talked it felt like a was letting go of a 100lb atlas stone. It is very hard to make that first step… trust me. And hey, you can shoot me a message if you’d like to chat. I have no qualifications at all, but I’m a pretty good listener. I’m happy to know you enjoyed my posts. You’ll get there… there is no rush
@speediedelivery Same…you said what I didn’t know how to. Perfectly. Thanks.
@capnjb If I get to your neck of the woods I am buying the drinks. I’ll try not to make you regret that offer
@speediedelivery I hope that happens
I am so thankful for @capnjb
While I haven’t posted much I was with you every day… feeling all the feels, remembering all the re-memories, and appreciating the goodness of life. You have been an inspiration… and a reminder that there is still so much to be thankful for.
Keep on keeping on. And thanks for it all.
@llangley Those are kind words. Thank you. And thanks for hiking the trail with me… it was uphill, both ways
Thank you so much. Travel well.
@capnjb Thank you for a wonderful month. I very much looked forward to your daily shares. I laughed, I cried and I reflected. Please continue to post
@tinamarie1974 I had a few ideas I never got around to. I may pull those together, but I think I’m going to take a few days off first
It seems like the month went by awfully fast! I thought you’d have lots of interesting things to say from what you’d posted in the past, but the openness and generosity of what you shared with all of us has really been moving and thought-provoking (and sometimes hilarious!) You might just have to start an account for Luna so she can get goated and tell us more … Thanks for being such a great goat!
@Kyeh Well, Luna is an introverted extroverted introvert. So… we’ll have to figure that one out. Thanks for pushing me off the cliff.
