I think a better use of these gloves would be to offer them to the MEH members who are 65 and older or have underlying problems that could impact there chances of catching the COV 19 virus…just a thought…maybe next time…EZ
Gloves are mainly for preventing getting other people sick, aren’t they? What are older people supposed to do with gloves? Shouldn’t they just wash their hands?

I realized early on that if I wore gloves at the market and touched something with the virus, then I would just be transferring said virus to everything I touched thereafter, including all of the food I was buying. So, no improvement over bare hands. Better to use wipes on shopping cart handles, then only touch what I was putting in the cart, and clean stuff (including hands) when I got home.
@rockblossom@sammydog01 some grocery stores here, in addition to cart wipes, have sanitizer at the entries with signs asking shoppers to clean their hands before entering. They’ve also added plexiglass shields at the checkouts. All very strange. Hard to know of it is really helping or just making everyone feel better.
