Test-Teas Thursday (Peach Tea!)
4
Let me preface the following with this
I didn’t have the best experience with them but that doesn’t mean that you won’t. It doesn’t look like this tea is on their site any longer but they do have other teas available that sound remarkable.
Semi-Related note, here’s a song about peaches.
This was a scrumptious tea. It was perfectly peachy and it’s even better iced. This is the type of tea that you think of for Southern States (minus the sugar.) It’s refreshing, it’s light and it just tastes so damn good it’ll leave you wanting more. Everyone that tried this tea was beside themselves.
Unfortunately we threw away the package without getting the exact ingredients of this one but there’s definitely peach and maybe a bit of vanilla.
From the crowd:
Taste: 8.5
Smell: 5.875
Look: 7.875
The smell and look are nothing special to the majority of the people that tested it.
With the smell being at 5.875 and taste being at 8.5, I think this is a good example of you can’t always trust scent. When it comes to tea, it might smell great but taste vastly different…and it might smell horrible but taste amazing. Don’t judge a tea bag by it’s cover…er…smell?
Everyone agreed that the vanilla undertones in this were mild but perfect. Two tasters said it wasn’t as peachy as they normally like their tea. When it was brewed and we put it in a pitcher with ice, it turned this gorgeous deep honey color.
All in all, though my experience with this company wasn’t the best, the tea was pretty dang taste-tea. So with that being said, does anyone have a favorite peach tea or a favorite summer iced tea? Let us know below, we’d love to hear about it!

I know it’s not Peach, but this post reminded me that years ago I use to drink this A LOT. I loved it!
I love the logo! What kind of peach tea did you try? Did I miss it? I can send you a sample of the decaf peach I’ve been drinking if you want to try it. It’s Midsummer Peach from Harneys.
@sammydog01 Yes please!
You didn’t actually say where the tea was from.
I’m a fan of peach tea…esp over ice…all teas should be over ice…
So… what tea is this?
So, this tea was a purchase from Plum Deluxe, but it appears to be a limited offer, because we’ve been unable to locate the “Nana’s Peach Black Tea” anywhere on their website.
@Cythwulf This it? https://www.shopnanasattic.com/store/p37/Ginger_Peach_Tea.html
@phendrick Nope. It was a tea called “Nana’s Peach Black Tea” from the company Plum Deluxe.
@phendrick but that looks pretty good.
