@mike808 Why not just state the resolution (720p, 1080p, etc.) instead of making up an abbreviation that even Google struggles with? What does the ‘X’ mean? Sometimes I wonder why companies have to make things unnecessarily confusing…
@PooltoyWolf It’s not unnecessary.
It’s absolutely necessary so that you don’t catch on to their full of shit claims to make up for an inferior product.
They’re compensating for something. Kinda like the guy that drives a big truck and rolls coal for Teslas. Or “influencers”.
Thx!

What is ‘HDX’? I thought it was a store brand at The Home Depot.
@PooltoyWolf It means HD (720p probably), to make it clear that it isn’t 4K or SD (VHS video transfer).

@mike808 Additional research suggests ‘HDX’ is nothing more than a marketing term for 1080p used exclusively by Vudu.

@mike808 If we’re onto them, it must mean it didn’t work!
@PooltoyWolf It’s the same price for SD or HDX.
What is HDX and SD on Vudu?
SD = 480p resolution. HD = 720p resolution. HDX = 1080p resolution.
@PooltoyWolf the X stands for EXTREME!!
@lisaviolet This is so silly!
@carl669 For all we know, it might…
@carl669 @PooltoyWolf
