This was a point hammered against some folks back in the earlier days of shirt.woot – that designs don’t need to be super detailed or super artistic to sell. Folks typically aren’t going to be standing around studying a shirt design – a few seconds, and that’s it. If a viewer understood it, that’s all that’s needed.
@chienfou Yeah. but I know the lyrics well and still felt a lot of emotion reading it (and the mix of fonts and emphasis which is very artistic) and brought back memories and life experiences over 40 years. And how true many of those silly phrases turned out to apply to the life I had no idea I was going to have at the time.
So I’m really glad this came up and made me rediscover that experience, for better or worse, and heck yeah I ordered the shirt. In long sleeve.
TeeL; DR.
@phendrick Nice.
It might be okay if the design is on the back.
@Kyeh I’m not stalking you, I just want to read your shirt.
…especially since anyone I wouldn’t mind standing that close already knows the lyrics.

@blaineg One of many.
Where did you find this?
@robson Notwithstanding the shirt.woot watermark in the top corner, I just posted the link a few replies above.
@blaineg @robson yeah I guess now it’s OK since for some reason this place didn’t want to take our money for shirts anymore.
If you read the whole thing you probably missed the point… or ARE checking out the body under the shirt…
