@ceagee, I didn't use it myself (because I was doing ACTUAL WORK glares at @JonT), but it looked like there was minimal assembly required. They had it out of the box and flying almost as soon as they got it charged.
This doesn't list my favorite spec: if you fly it above it's RF range on a windy day, you get to the thrill of watching it plummet to the ground (somehow it still works).

Since nobody is saying anything about the charging time, I will. They can't have invented a new kind of battery, right? of course not- who would invent a battery that takes loooonger to charge? My guess is that the charger itself puts out a very low wattage. I bet that if someone found a charger that puts out the same voltage but a higher wattage, they could swap the connector and voila! instant quick charge. Of course, that might void your warrantee, but hey, it ain't my chopper. Might melt wires inside it, but after all, you bought 2, right? That means you even have an extra charger if it won't do the job and ruined your first helicopter. good luck all you makers!
Great deal, especially with VMP membership. I would have bought one but I'm super broke at the moment. Plus I have two similar helicopters somewhere around here (Halo versions), which are indeed really fun to see crash. For now I will just have to keep Meh'ing until my eBay sales pick back up (or I get a different job), but keep up the fun item offerings. I enjoy staying up just to see what they will be.
135 is a rather surprising low number considering the item. It's not like you don't know your clients and that you couldn't have sold three or five times that many. I bet you have a lot more than 135 Roombas sitting around. Do you see what I'm getting at ?

no assembly, just plug and play. after you totally destroy the first set of rotors they will need replacing but it's easy.
It comes fully assembled, but if you mean how hard is it to replace the rotors - I'm not sure. I don't believe it would all that bad.
I didn't know about the rotors. I was thinking this might be fun for my 86 yo dad. He was a control tower operator WWII. What say you ?

maybe it's not in the specs cuz it's made for indoor use. but that outdoor jaunt was hilarious.

I ended up walking through snake infested tall grass to get it back. It was worth it to see it crash that hard.

The frustrating part of these things is having to fly it for 8-10 whole minutes before you can get back to the exciting part: charging!
The manuel recommends flying it in indoor sporting arenas and aircraft hangers, because you need a lot of indoor space. Seriously.
Well, it wasn't an argument so much as it was a "hey, you're closest - good luck with the snakes" kind of thing.
Though if you don't mind a few close calls, an office is perfectly fine.

It is true the higher if you find a higher amp charger with the same volts the batteries will get warmer when charging.

It's probably going out of range. RC stuff (especially cheap RC stuff) doesn't have much range.

@Chops I've found that it periodically just doesn't work. But if I use a little "percussive maintenance" it works fine again.
