I have never understood the appeal of bischoff. I gather there must be some, so when I travel, I pick them up. But they’re basically the human equivalent of dog biscuits. They have no real flavor; they’re just crunchy things to chomp. Good humans! You were quiet for a whole two hours!
@brainmist It seems to me that their whole schtick is to be a convenient vehicle for delivery of cookie butter and the like. I have not tried any of the Lotus Biscoff line, so I have no opinion about its relative merits beyond my inherent autoavoidance of pointless carbs.
Because I’m half Dutch and half American—-so FU AND curse your pancreas I guess? (Although I’ve been to NL about ten times and my family is rude af and I’ve never heard that…) Anyway, these don’t compare to a fresh one at the market, but set it on top of your tea or coffee cup and let the heat melt it a bit and it’s still yummy.
@prstaton Some years ago I lived in the Netherlands and I think that country has the best bakery type things of any country I have lived in. Light. Airy. Not too sweet- rather just sweet enough. Really good taste… I miss picking up random bakery things at the market.
That’s like asking if I want access to air or water? I need both to survive… sure I’ll die quicker without air, but it will be a more agonizing death dying without water.
After eating several hundred Stroopwafs over the past few years, I guess I’m ready for something new.
Corn.
@yakkoTDI
@tweezak Ummmmmmm… I meant good corn.
@yakkoTDI Do you know the story behind their name. It’s…juvenile.
@tweezak I know very little about them other than they exist. I must have heard their music before but I have never known it was them.
Juvenile reason for a band name? Please enlighten me.
They’re both yummy. Hey you should sell a mixed box some of each
Never had either, so I can’t really say I hate them both.

I like them both.
Could take or leave either of them. I prefer real butter to random vegetable oils.

@Kidsandliz @prstaton I’ve been there once and thought all the food was really good!
