Here’s a Fun Fact for You
Doctors recommend you cut down on your drinking, monitor your caloric intake, and exercise at least a few times per week. However, our in-house hipster intern, Salinger, says doctors are a capitalist ploy, and recommends you try Kambo: a frog poison cleanse that uses the poison of the giant monkey frog to purify and treat various health conditions. Because nothing purifies the body like a good old poisoning.
@PooltoyWolf No, I was first! You must’ve hacked into my computer and taken a screenshot when I clicked the button! WAIT, ARE YOU WATCHING ME RIGHT NOW‽
I’ve been pretty disappointed with my Gear Fit 2 lately. Does this work with Google Fit? I figure this might be worth trying before I jump up to something like a Garmin 345.
I got one that was a return in a fuko. It’s very basic, but sturdy. The battery generally lasts a few days.
The phone app oddly includes a small game you can play that somehow works your stats into what you get for supplies. I haven’t played much, but it’s an interesting idea
All I want to know (that I can’t find an answer anywhere) is whether this thing has a clock function on it. Because if I’m going to be wearing something on my wrist all the time, it better be capable of telling me the time! And if it doesn’t have a simple clock function, that seems like a pretty gross oversight considering all its other smartphone integrated features.
The Striiv Fusion Bio2 is new to the field of fitness trackers, and unfortunately failed to impress. This was our least favorite fitness tracker out of the bunch, scoring a 45 out of 100. Scoring average when it came to ease of use and its display, the only factor that we found that slightly redeems it was it had a good aesthetic and was comfortable to wear.
The Amazon reviews are underwhelming as well, mostly old, but only a couple shills. Perhaps not.
I bought things that promise to make me look like the girl or guy in the pictures, but I always turn out to be much closer to the hands. At least Meh has a honest marketing picture.
Is it really that ugly, or is that even possible? I may get one for that reason alone. Amazon had one yesterday for $15 that actually looks nice, but what fun is that? If it is cheap, it should look cheap. This one fits the bill.
@Dstraktd Mine did that also right at the beginning. The battery said it was at 98% and wouldnt connect (and I was like, oh shit, here we go with another shitty piece of technology). So I kept it charging while I set up the account, keeping it literally right next to my phone while I did it and it set up perfectly. I love it!
Just received it yesterday and I LOVE it! I bought it mostly for the heart rate tracker and the pedometer function because of my shitty heart and this can track my BPM even while I sleep. So if anyone has heart/health issues this will help show your heart rate while you sleep, during activity and at rest. Excellent buy Meh! Thanks

Apparently I pissed off some people from my commentary yesterday. So…
“Oh my word! We must rely upon skin contact to create a valid profile. Perhaps this offering will satisfy said condition!”
No cocaine or other drugs were involved in this post.
FIRST
@PooltoyWolf I hate to break it to you but lots of people are first. The site takes a while to add everyone up.
@sammydog01 You won’t deflate me so easily!

@PooltoyWolf @Rowsdower actually I think they just posted that for you.
Hope that makes sense. I shouldn’t be up this late…
Hello, anybody there?
@bigtom67 I am a child of the universe, therefore I am always here…

@Konraden I found some reviews. You’re definitely gonna get what you pay for with these.

Will this track how many times I pick up my water bottle?
@unksol only If you bought the bluetooth one the other day…

@Turken watching to see if you get an answer.
@sflesch @Turken and if it doesn’t I believe “smart watch” is a LIE!
@Turken check out @evilsmoo ‘s comment - has a review and one of the pics shows date/time

@EvilSmoo I mean it’s on meh. And if the name alone didn’t tell you. I mean Striive come on
@EvilSmoo Good aesthetic? Really?
@ThunderChicken Please learn the difference between the link and a block quote, and actual text. That was a copy/paste from the link.
@EvilSmoo I was merely questioning TechGearLab’s assessment. I knew what the source was. I left the @ in place since it was a reply to your post.
“Streeve”? “Streye-eye-vuh”? “Str-three”?
Str-t-f is that supposed to be?
@msayler that was my first thought as well!
I saw what you did there (and it was brilliant!)
@mediocrebot hey mediocrebot… I see what you saw there, now shut the fuck up!
@mediocrebot I generally like your improvement but this is def not one of them. Please loose the super weird saw trigger

I really don’t need another device and/or app collecting my data.

Promises, promises!
Does it track sleep?

Just remembered I got one of these in a Fuko awhile back, before I joined the smartphone apocalypse.
Maybe now that I actually have a smartphone, I should dig it out and…
Nah. Still not interested.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Of course Kambo is a real thing…
Reviews seem rather lackluster.
cannot get mine to connect to my account. just spins and spins and spins…
